Batman Samini was recently accused of cheating on the mothers of his two daughters, by marrying them both- with both women remaining clueless as to their husband’s marital status with the other.
Joshua Clottey has recently had to defend himself against allegations that he cheated on the mother of his baby daughter, subsequently leading to the end of their relationship.
Following these recent stories relating to cheating within Ghana’s entertainment industry, I felt that the time had come to give all the ladies out there a few tips. Men, you guys are welcome to take note.
(Anyone below the age of eighteen-years-old please refrain from reading any further- I do not want to be held responsible for polluting the minds of youngsters).
Ok, so let’s start with the basics- let’s try and actually determine WHY men cheat in the first place. Listed below is my list of the reasons why I feel men may feel the need to creep around on their woman:
- Lack of attention- As much as they may try to deny it, men are just big babies underneath. They need constant attention, love and care. If they’re not getting these things at home, then ladies best believe that they will surely be getting it from somewhere else.
- Too much baggage- As in psycho ex-boyfriends, baby daddy drama (it’s not just the baby mommas that come with the drama), or a million and one children from previous relationships. Now ladies, some of you might be thinking well if men have a problem with this- why don’t they just admit it in the first place? But you know guys, they like to be macho and think they can handle anything- it’s two very different perspectives to be from the outside looking in, and to actually be placed in that position. Henceforth, some men cheat to get away from all the drama. They may think they’re doing the woman a favour by at least still being with her but I think these kinds of men are the most cowardly- trapped in a difficult relationship but scared of being honest. The truth is so much better than cheating- even if it hurts.
- Romance is dead- Ladies, are you one of them that’s read a letter in the relationship section of a magazine, and had a secret giggle to yourself about the woman who likes to dress up as a school girl, a nurse, or some in some other kinky attire for her man? I know I’ve done that, BUT, these dress-up routines may actually help to keep the romance alive in relationships. Ladies, it’s not enough to think “well at least I’m giving him some- he needs to be grateful”. No. Find different ways of keeping the romance alive- do something unusual (even if it’s out of your comfort zone) because nobody likes the same old thing. We don’t so what makes us think that men do?
- Revenge- Maybe you cheated on him in the past, and no matter how much he says he’s forgiven you, he will NEVER forget it. The sad thing is that some men are actually immature enough to go out and do the same thing and justify their actions as revenge. Men, two wrongs don’t make a right.
- Constant Teasing- Ladies, we have to realise that as much as we love Will Smith, LL, Van Vicker & Majid, it’s too late to have them. Instead of belittling the guys about how they don’t measure up to the likes of these buff male celebrities, we should be praising them on what they have that makes us love them so much. They may front like they don’t care about the teasing but like I said before, guys are just big teddy bears underneath the macho man exterior- they do care!
- Constant Nagging- Nagging him about every little thing- whether big or small- will drive him further away from you and push him closer into the arms of a nagging-free woman. Yes I agree that some things, they just need to be told, but, we need to realise when to back off after having said our piece.
- Danger Element- Some guys are just caught up with the excitement of getting it somewhere else- even if it means failing to think about the consequences.
- They ain’t getting none at home- Ladies, we know guys have a high sex drive and best believe, if you aren’t providing them with the goods at home, they will surely be getting from somewhere else.

Not true. Costant Nagging – I will be spending the night at moms house, hotel, or friends. its too much. HIghly true. / Danger element – advantures can be exciting…. very true. / They ain’t getting none at home – thus far the best advice u head for these ladies. BEST BELIEVE OUT OF THE QUESTION TRUE!!!!

Why do women always think that just because they gave their men “some”, their men should be happy. Why are women born to be sex slaves. Yes men have high sex drive than us women but we also do enjoy the sex you know. At least I do. We do have moments that we get uncontrollable sexual urges and we also need some. We shouldn’t let it seem like we are there to satisfy men sexual needs. This is a new century, we should hide behind the truth. I say if your man cheats on you, you cheat on your man. He cheats three time, you cheat three times. He calls you a slut, you call him a dog. Sometimes if takes that move to gain some respect and put your message across. GONE were the days when society impose all the stupid rules on women. If you don’t have food to eat at the end of the month, society will not feed you. TIC-4-TAC speaks louder than you might think.

Samini is just stupid. Not only has he married 2 wives but has a girl called Jane Awoonor preganant in ghana! Inhis case it is just too much weed and a bad upbringing from his DAD!
