In Ghana, certain topics are no go areas when it comes to discussions. One of such topics is sex and homosexuality. Believe it or not, the act of homosexualism (both lesbianism and gayism) is gainning roots and getting bigger in various Ghanaian societies.  Those who enjoy and claim to be homosexuals in Ghana are advocating for inter alia, equal right, respect and societal acceptance in relation to their sexual orientation.

Though Ghana is not Sodom and Gomorrah, what is your take on this? What does your conscience and morals dictate when it comes to the issues of homosexuals in Ghana? Do you think they should be allowed to freely practice their sexual orientation in our contemporary Ghana? Do they have any rights or should society embrace them all and accept them as part of us? Mimi, Samini, Sarkodie & Co To Perform In South Africa Ahead Of World Cup

As part of the programmes to usher in the very first World Cup on the land of Africa,Mimi is billed to perform in Pretoria, South Africa. The concert is put together in collaboration with FIFA and Kofi PinkraMedia. The concert comes off on the 11th June after the World Cup opening ceremony on the 10th June 2010.

The concert which is a World Cup celebration would be broadcast by FIFA on some selected channels in the world. There will be exclusive interviews after the concert.

The Ghana Music Awards 2010 ‘Discovery of the Year’ nominee is the only female to perform on the night. However, she will share the big stage with fellow Ghanaians Samini, Sarkodie, Castro Destroyer, Praye and from South Africa Jozi Jozi.

It’s Not A matter Of Invading Nigeria-John Dumelo

John Dumelo has described the so-called invasion of Ghanaians actors in Nollywood as a ‘give and take’ affair. According to Dumelo, he doesn’t see the reason why Nigerians are crying about  Ghanaians  acting in Nollywood since most of the top Nigerian Actors ‘troop’ to Ghana as well. He simply described the situation as ‘they come here and we go there’.
