D-Day, Ghana Vs U.S.A: Is Sulley Muntari Playing Today? He Must Play Full Time….!

Dealing with celebrities and high profiled persons is very difficult. It is even sicken and worst when the persons you dealing with have attitudinal problems coupled with arrogance. As much as I have dealt with many celebrities over the years, I have not met or had any chit-chat with Muntari before and therefore cannot personally comment on his attitude. However I have heard and read about his attitudinal problems upon which I am writing this piece.

No one will condone arrogance and disrespect but as much as we always advocate for tempering mercy with justice, we have to close our minds to everything and let Sulley Muntari play “fulltime” today. He may have his own issues but as a nation, we need him more today than anything else.

Most Football lovers will agree with me on the talent of Muntari. He is really a skillful player with enough experience to support the young inexperience players to push the USA out of this year’s  FIFA World Cup tournament.

For today, I do not care about Sulley Muntari’s attitude or arrogance; the coach should feature  him for the whole 90 minutes if he is physically fit. We need him to give us some shots and if possible some good soccer dexterity.  What do you think?  Are you looking forward to the match?

  2. I guess you are right, we shouldn’t look at the attitude now but the best that he can deliver for the nation at the end of the 90minutes which USA is going down by 1 goal difference.

  3. I hope so too, I mean Prince Tagoe is a waste of space but for some strange reason the coach likes him to play he needs to take a seat, 2-0 will be enough for me. Its very necessary for them to score field goals, cant wait.

  6. whether (experienced & skillful) or being the national best football asset,Muntari must adhere to the saying which goes ‘humbleness is key to the success of every great man’. we are currently counting on tactical discipline and until he accepts that fact, i fear our once ‘delight to watch soccer icon will gradually be saying goodbye to the national shirt

  7. I get wat ur sayin with the article, muntari is skillfeull yet has an attitude, however, I think the Blackstars will be better off without him. Have u seen the way he played in the last games, n the last games for inter in the champions league finals….naa I diasagree, he’s not at the standars he used 2 be..gyan, ayew, adiyea, KPBoateng,-without Tagoe, should take us forward, moreover, we have strikers on the bench, the coach just has 2 use them! especially Adiyea-talent! n he needs 2 be groomed

  9. OK! Let’s all CEASEFIRE and then set it straight….. Muntari and Baloteli are arguably the most arrogant players currently in European football and both played two seasons for the Most Controversial Coach in Europe (Maurinho) in Inter Milan. Despite the arrogance and indiscipline (both on and off the field), Maurinho continued to field them, especially Muntari (even getting back into the 1st team after taking several red cards) in the 1st season. Maurinho is a performance oriented coach and as such Muntari receiving less field of play in the just ended season obviously means HE FAILED TO IMPRESS!!! Even Baloteli enjoyed more playng time this season than Muntari. Now let’s narrow it down to the BLACK STARS. I believe Milo tries more than enough to put up with his attitude but on the occasions he’s been brought on to play, he’s NOT IMPRESSED me at all…..It is good that now he knows that, if he’s not around BLACK STAR is even better!…… For Tagoe he’s been a flop in the right flank….At least the match against the proves that clearly!!
