The chic new lounge of the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra, ‘Branche’, rained with stars as the family and friends of Xavier Hubert (Golden Tulip Xperience Manager) converged to celebrate his 30th Birthday.
The ever-effervescent Xavier had some of the top Ghanaian celebrities from the world of music to radio and television, as well as corporate Ghana passing through to celebrate the milestone with him.
The guests included Ghanaian dancehall star, Samini; actress Yvonne Nelson; singer/composer/producer, Jayso; and TV personalities like Kafui Dey, Joselyn Dumas, Ama K Abebresse among others. With a calm atmosphere of soothing music, the guests were treated to a delightful variety of starters, grills and food from the famous kitchens of Golden Tulip.
Ghana’s fastest growing live singer, Jane ‘Efya’ Awindor, accompanied by a pianist, performed songs from her upcoming debut solo album for the ‘birthday boy’, much to the admiration of the guests.
As Efya sang her special rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’, Xavier with the assistance of his wife, Mary and their eldest son cut the birthday cake. They were later joined by some of the guests for photos and soon there was plenty of cake to go around.
