Mac Tontoh of Osibisa music group died few weeks ago at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. It was reported that suffered stroke, diabetes and was flown to London during the earlier stages of the stroke for treatment and his condition improved markedly.
He however relapsed and admitted at the hospital due to complications of the stroke and later gave up the ghost.

I feel real bad cause,as a lover of alternative rock music(Osibisa was the only rock band in Africa for a long long time) its only recently that Im getting into Osibisa.
The tribute is heartfelt, wish the slide show had more original footage of Osibisa like when they performed at the House of Blues or any of thier 1970’s album covers
