blank

I really think Samini has issues or he is just playing dumb nowadays. Some of the remarks coming from Samini  is far from intelligent and to some extent disrespecting to women. I am bemused as to how Samini, a role model of many young Ghanaians including my own little cousin ” Joe” keeps pouring out garbage.

From what I know, celebs are taught how to answer questions during interviews but it seems Samini is just throwing out answers without careful consideration of  his status, the effects and the fact that he is a role model.

It was worrisome to observe that of all the musical talents abound in Ghana, the organizers could only pick one artiste from Ghana in the upcoming 3rd edition of the MTV Africa Music Awards With (Airtel) Zain (MAMAs). Sounds interesting to me but are the organizers really the ones to be blamed? Whatever criteria, they used might be anti-Ghana.

As good as Ghanaian musicians are, they always play second fiddle to the population inflated Nigerians. Awards in Africa suggests that Nigeria and to a large extent South Africa are on top of the music game. Ghana’s position so far as these awards are concerned doesn’t look encouraging.

Undoubtedly, Nollywood is getting bigger and bigger and its stars like Genevieve Nnaji are going places.

Yesterday, Genevieve Nnaji was featured on CNN Connector and she talked about a lot of things.

One thing I was not feeling was when she said, she does not walk, she drives and for that matter she is SAFE on the streets of Nigeria. She further said, she will be mobbed if she had to walk. Oh come on Gen, who will mob you just because you are a star on the street?
