All too soon 2010 will be coming to an end. There will be special programs/events to celebrate this yuletide season. One of such programs dubbed Revele Films La Palm Royal Beach Hotel Christmas Fiesta has been launched. The fiesta starts now and ends on New Year’s Eve.
Revele Films is known for their quality hit series and movies such as ‘Home Sweet Home’, ‘Hotel St. James’ and ‘Run Baby Run’. As they continued to churn out quality productions, they introduced in 2008 a new special event they call ‘Revele Christmas Fiesta’.
This special fiesta is aimed at bringing children and adults together during the Christmas season. It is also to entertain, educate and nurture the talents in children which often go unnoticed or ignored.
The maiden edition was held at the National Theatre and it attracted children from various schools in the country. With a special invitation, the second edition took place at the Accra Mall which was dubbed Christmas at the Mall Celebrations.
According to the organizers, entertainment plays a vital role in the lives of people in general. The popularity the event has gained has forced the organizers to inculcate this year’s Christmas Fiesta into the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel Annual Children’s Christmas Party.
Revele Christmas Fiesta comes off on the 26th of December. The day is set aside for families to come together. Some households celebrate Christmas without knowing its true meaning. The organizers have put together a Christmas play entitled ‘Meet Me At The Manger’ to educate the patrons.
Some of the segments marked for the fiesta will be: A Contemporary Christmas Play, A Musical Performance, A Santa’s Grotto, 3 Course Buffet Lunch, Balloon Magic & Ice Cream, Face Painting & Cotton Candy, Organized Games & Pop Corn, Bouncy Castles, Boat Rules, Exciting Christmas Gifts.
La Palm Royal Beach Hotel has reduced its prices for the festive season with room packages going for $314 and $398 for single and double respectively for two nights.
The golden package goes for $454 and $578 for single and double respectively for three nights. The two packages comes with a complimentary glass of wine on any one night of your choice, discounted body massage, continental buffet breakfast, airport transfers plus full use of leisure and fitness facilities.
From 3rd to 23rd December patrons can check their Royal Dragon Chinese Restaurant for authentic Chinese cuisines. Their continental restaurant will also be opened for people who want to eat continental dishes at affordable prices on the Christmas Day with their Christmas Day Carvery Lunch going for GHC65 (half price for kids below 12 years)
Ghanaian highlife artistes Pat Thomas and KK Fosu will provide music for the patrons on the New Year’s Eve to welcome the New Year. Patrons can enjoy a full night of surprise and suspense with spectacular fireworks at midnight for GHC 100 for single, GHC 180 for double and GHC50 for children below 12 years.
Patrons can also enjoy New Year’s Day Big Breakfast for a cool GHC25 per a head and half price for children below 12. Indeed, the best place to be at Christmas is the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel for their special Christmas fiesta packages.
The launch of the Christmas Fiesta came with a lighting of Christmas tree. It was presented by actress Naa Ashorkor. Winneba Youth Choir provided the audience made up of mostly children a wonderful rendition of Christmas tunes.
