The wedding we are all waiting to see is almost here. I’d like to take a poll to see what dress Menaye Donkor could wear on her special day to become Mrs.Sulley Muntari.

As a seamstress and wedding dress consultant my advice to her would be enhance all your best attributes. She can do form fitted without the use of spanx (a woman’s secret to tighten those special places in limited amount of time).

Lets face it, if Ghana had a fitness modeling industry, Menaye would reign supreme making it easy for her to choose a ready to wear dress by Badgley Mischka, Atlier Aimee, Calvin Thoo, Margie Sottero, Pnina Tomai, Vera Wang; the list goes on.

Readers make your selections, not that she needs our help, keep your future wedding in mind. Which gown is good to go for a Christmas wedding extravaganza!

  1. I am not a fun at all of wedding dresses made out of lace. In the hands of a wrong designer it makes it look like it was meant for a corpse. However, Pnina Tomai knows how to use lace to make the sexiest wedding dress a woman dreams of (bare in mind you need the physique) to wear it. To me Vera Wang is over-rated and boring if your dress is not personally customized by her.

Good luck to Menaye and her future beau. Your mother will be proud for listening to her advice (i.e. Marry WELL$$$$$$!!!!!)

    • Hm, someone once said the master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house. One day that perception of showing skin will change in Ghana

  4. i will perfare a gown with no hand, less glitters in them and should be flir. it should have a cup which can really hold the breast to make it firm in its right full position. it should look sexy and. the veil should not be too long and it should have a boostiere at the back of it to make it look more rich and attractive so other gals will envy. in general it should look simpl yet sexy to carry the breath of the groom when he sees his bride. amongest the gowns i prefare maggie soteros brand. it looks classy yet simple.

    • Good point. There is one designer out of ATL(originally from Liberia) who does exclusively Ghana fabric wedding gowns, I am trying hard to get her for an interview
