Observers, they say are always worried! Indeed I like to observe and I don’t mind being tagged as a worried gentleman, so far as what I’m worried about is very important to the development of the Ghanaian and Ghana as a whole. Do I need to keep reminding you that I love Ghana? Certainly not!

It is not new to any of us that Ghanaians love everything foreign. Even if the air we breathe is packaged from outside and sold to Ghanaians, they will buy it. Anything foreign is warmly accepted in Ghana. Period!

Apart from Ghanaian’s strong penchant for anything foreign, we seem to also copy lots of things from the west.

‘Jesus One Touch’ Sentenced To 20 Yrs Imprisonment: How Can A Person Tell The Difference Between A ‘Real Priest’ & A ‘False Prophet’?

One of the main news stories from Ghana, reaching GhanaCelebrities.Com this morning is that the popular ‘man of God’, ‘Jesus One Touch’ has been sentenced to face imprisonment, after being convicted on charges of Incest and Defilement.

‘Jesus One Touch’- real name Nana Kofi Yirenkyi- who is the Founder, and General Overseer of Accra’s ‘Jesus Blood Prophetic Ministry’, was found guilty on both of the charges he was being trialled on. As a result of the verdict, he now faces 10 years imprisonment for EACH charge (a total of 20 years in prison).

Ernestina Naadu Mills, Ghana’s first lady, gave Michelle Obama a Backes and Strauss “Black Star of Ghana” watch, “crafted in 18 karat gold with diamonds and leather,” White House papers revealed yesterday.

It was valued at USD 48,000.

Compare this to India: The most expensive gifts from the Indian Prime Minister to President Barack Obama was a collection of books with an estimated value of USD 3,572.
