Founder Of Ghana Movie Awards Presents Founder’s Merit Awards To Agya Koo, Juliet Ibrahim, Yvonne Okoro & Roselyn Ngissah!

The organizers of the Ghana Movie Awards, Gollywood Production Limited yesterday at the Golden Tulip Hotel presented two brand new SUV Zoyte four wheel drive to deserving Ghanaian actors in a special ceremony.

The Founders Merit Award is a non-competitive category of the Ghana Movie Awards. This was instituted by the founder of the GMA and it is aimed at recognizing efforts and also to encourage actors in pursuit of their movie career.

Majid Michel who won Best Actor In A Lead Role For English Language in his role in “The beast” lost out on the car to Kofi Adu a.k.a. Agya Koo who won the Local Language in the same category as above.

The quartet of Jackie Appiah, Juliet Ibrahim, Yvonne Okoro and Roselyn Ngissah got the nod ahead of Rose Mensah a.k.a Kyeiwaa. Agya Koo’s triumphant was in recognition for his role in bringing the movie industry in Ghana back to life.

In attendance were; the members of the GMA Jury, which was made up of experienced industry players. Also, Agya Koo and Kyeiwaa were in attendance with their entourage. Some were clad in Agya Koo Fan Club T-Shirts. Missing in action was Jackie Appiah.

Apart from the two cars, some of the winners and nominees in the following categories Best Actor In English Language (Both Lead And Supporting), Best Actor In Twi Language (Both Lead And Supporting), Best Actress In English Language (Both Lead And Supporting), Best Actress In Twi Language (Both Lead And Supporting) will be clothed with free clothing from Prince Clothing for a year.

MKOGH will also provide 10 times clothing sponsorship for any events they are billed to attend for a year.

Golden Tulip Hotel will provides free gym for all the winners to exercise their body and get fit. SPA 216 will for a year groom and beautify the winners.

XMen is also giving out free clothes for a year. Each nominee of the awards is entitled for a free phone from rLG. House Of Alma will also costume Jackie Appiah, Juliet Ibrahim, Yvonne Okoro and Roselyn Ngissah for any movie they are shooting for a year.

The keys to the two SUV Zoyte were presented to the deserving winners after they all had read and signed the Terms and Conditions. GhanaCelebrities.com has reproduced the Terms and Conditions below.

Terms & Conditions For The Founder Merit Awards:

  • The documents to the cars shall remain under the name of Gollywood Production Ltd.
  • The transfer of ownership will be done after one year of official usage of car.
  • The Branding of car should be left intact under after documents have been transferred under your name.
  • In the case of any motor accident, the recipient of the car will take responsibility for the repair work.
  • The recipient of the Founders Merit Awards shall be automatic ambassadors of the Ghana Movie Awards.
  • Recipient of the Founders Merit Awards shall be contacted by organizers to promote the Ghana Movie Awards.
  • Flouting of terms and conditions stated above, empowers the organizers to take any legal action they deem fit.
