Yvonne Nelson Slapped With One Year Ban In Nigeria For Ranting & Walking Off Set B’cos Some Waivers Were Granted To Jackie Appiah

According to Myjoyonline and Nigeriafilms.Com, Ghanaian Actress Yvonne Nelson has been slapped with 1 year ban in Nigeria.

Even though the Actress is currently said to be serving 2 years ban in Ghana, she recently told NewsOne that she has not been banned. According to Yvonne, she has not received any official letter from FIPAG imposing a ban on her and therefore she is not officially aware of any ban on her as an actress.

When I thought the whole Yvonne Nelson ban saga was a thing of last year, she is in the news again for another ban slammed on her far in Nigeria. I do not get the direction of this report ( seems like it is the same Ghana incident being wrongly reported ) but if you care to know, then Read below for more….

Congrats! Citi FM’s Caroline Has A Baby Boy!

CITI 97.3 FM presenter and former beauty pageant contestant Caroline Sampson has given birth to a bouncing baby boy.

Not long after she had successfully given birth to her first in 27 years, the skinny-sized model/presenter logged onto social networking site Facebook to make an official announcement.

“It was written a long time ago and today it has come to pass. I have been blessed with a baby boy. First day of the month of love, to God be the glory,” she posted.

Minutes later, her viral declaration was met with volumes of congratulatory messages and comments. While some of her friends were shocked to learn she had given birth at a time when they didn’t see any sign prior to the announcement, others, who had afore knowledge simply could not hide how elated they were.

Two years ago, a woman from the United States travelled to Ghana to marry the pastor that she’d been having prayer conferences with on the phone.

After their marriage ceremony, she financed the pastor’s travel expenses so that she would return to the states with him. A few months later, they had settled in New Orleans enjoying the American weather and a blissful marriage.

She got him a lucrative job, opened a joint account and entrusted everything in his care, including her Mercesdez truck. After a year or two, the woman took a vacation to Jamaica, but prior to her Jamaican vacation, her husband told her, he will be seeing a family member in Canada while she is away.

Who Should Be Blamed: Jackie Appiah Or Ghana Movie Awards Jury?

It’s good to hear from the horse’s own mouth. Jackie Appiah has finally voiced out and the dust has been settled. Before people start calling her names and try to give out reasons why she has opted out of the sharing of the cars other than her own reasons, let’s ask ourselves: who should be blamed? Is it Jackie Appiah or the Ghana Movie Awards Organizers & Jury?

I will not play the blame game here, this means, I’m not interested in who was right or wrong. It is not my business if Jackie Appiah boycotted the awards presentation because she was feeling big; at least she has not said so yet.

Even if Jackie Appiah is feeling pompous like people are saying, I think, she has every right to that, after all, she was gladly announced as the Best Actress in Ghana at the awards ceremony, when in actual fact the four actresses should have been mentioned, and so what do you expect? Must she suffer because the Jury slipped up?
