Some of the country’s finest music Super Stars are said to star at this year’s Save a Heart Music Fest 2011 to rock the Accra International Conference Centre.
The festival which will take place at the Dome of the Conference Centre Saturday, February 5, is being organized by The Golden Hearts Trust (GHT), a foundation for children with heart conditions.
The long list of Ghanaian giants set to perform at the charity concert include Tic Tac, GHT’s Goodwill Ambassador; George Darko; Kwabena Kwabena; Gyedu-Blay Ambolley; Praye; Asem; Kweku Gyasi; Ruff N Smooth; R2Bees; No Tribe; Tinny; Obrafour and Paapa Yankson.
To spice up the charity night of music, comedian, Funny Face will thrill fans to non-stop rib cracking jokes.
GHT is an established non-profit, non-governmental voluntary organisation committed to the promotion of health and the socio-economic well being of children with heart disorders across the country.
The trust has over the years championed the cause of improving the quality of life of children living with congenital life threatening heart conditions and true to this, the trust diagnoses about 200 children annually in Ghana.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the provision of heart surgeries for children suffering from serious heart conditions and associated complications.
Since its establishment some few years ago, the trust has sponsored and supported the heart surgeries of 35 Ghanaian children.
