New Movie: Pool Party
This is a quick one for those in Ghana who would want to make it to the premiere of “Pool Party”, a movie by Venus Film Production in conjunction with Raj Film which was shot late last year. The trailer looks good and the casting is great so if you are or would be in Accra, try and check it out.
The movie features Samini, Yvonne Nelson, Martha Ankomah, Yonne Okoro, Eddie Nartey, Majid Michel and others. The premiere is on Friday, 11th February,2011 at the Silver Bird Cinema, Accra. (6:30pm)

I’ve observed dat these movies from venus,heroes and the others follow a particular trend which is working for them.Their storylines and manner of delivery are so similar.These producers really need to try different directors with fresh ideas preferably Ghanaians who understand the true nature of our society and not these rejected nigerian directors giving us a fake protrayal of our life in Ghana.Shd it always be abt ****,nudity,violence and the same people? I’m just wondering wat will be so different abt dis one cos it luks the same like heart of men,game, 4 play with a different title etc. No wonder they always use nudity to market them.

To those complaining that they are using the same cast. According to sources and some of the actors and actress, auditions are held often yet only few make it. First of all you must be handsome, beautiful, and articulate, and fluent in the English language. One cannot be accepted because he or she is beautiful/ handsome. People must meet all requirements. Last week, i heard on the radio that Venus Films is having an audition this Thursday; if you qualify please audition for more information contact peacefm.
