Looking at these pictures, one thing comes to mind: what really happened? I know you are asking yourselves the same or similar question.

I stumbled on these pictures of former rap partners “Akyeame”, which was made up of Daniel Quophi Amoateng and Quame Nsiah Appau, known as Okyeame Quophi and Okyeame Kwame respectively.

Before their split up in 2004, they released the following albums ‘Brebre Obaahemaa’, ‘Nkonsonkonson’, ‘Nyansapo’, ‘Ntoaso’, and ‘Apam Fofro’. Whether hip life is dead is not for me to decide but surely the young music genre is not alright.

Some of their popular songs include ‘Bra Yen Tina’, ‘Adonko’, ‘Sankofa’, ‘Ene Yebeda Okyena’, ‘Brebre’, ‘Sick With Love’, ‘Obanyansafo’, ‘Damirifa Due’, ‘Di Asa’, ‘Asa A Aba So’, ‘All I Got’, ‘Mesan Aba’, ‘Obaa Pa’, ‘Menko Meda’.

If you play their songs every day like I do, you will understand why GhanaCelebrities.Com is starting this new column with Akyeame. Forget about the split up reasons, what do you miss about them?
