Viasat 1 is set to begin airing season 2 of one of their own productions LAUGH A MINUTE. The 30 minute comedy program hosted by Ghanaian Stand-up Comedian David Oscar made its debut on Viasat 1 in the 3rd quarter of 2010. Since then the program has received mixed reviews leaving producers of the show to realign themselves to exciting season 2.
Viasat 1 has gone to great lengths to create a fun family viewing experience this season with the inclusion of more comedians on the scripting team including popular stand-up DKB. In addition the show’s format has been tweaked to include parodies on both local and international celebrities (political, entertainment and so on), skits and sketches and of course local funny video clips sent in by viewers. These new inclusions are expected to create a more compelling and entertaining viewing for the family unit across the country.
Host of LAUGH A MINUTE David Oscar said, “Season 2 is going to be beautiful, bigger, better and will undoubtedly make for great family entertainment”. He added that viewers will have fun. Producers of the show have given season 2 thumbs up!
Season 2 of LAUGH A MINUTE premieres Sunday 3 April 2011 at 8pm.
