Viasat 1 is set to roll out a new Latin American Telenovela this month. The latest addition to the channel’s already exciting line-up is expected to draw more viewers from a larger demographic to its 3pm weekday slot. The new telenovela- IN THE NAME OF LOVE- takes over the baton from soon to end HIDDEN PASSION which saw massive audience followings since its premiere during the last quarter of last year. “En Nombre Del Amor” IN THE NAME OF LOVE tells the story of two sisters Macarena and Carlota, who must pay dearly, with pain, loneliness and resentment, for having fallen in love with the same man, and the consequences of that love in their autumn years.
Miss Ghana 2010, Stephanie Karikari has been made the new face of the popular hair relaxer, of BO-16 manufactured by Ghandour Cosmetics. Stephanie’s new found status means she would lead most of the company’s publicity platforms. She will act as the ‘cover girl’ in most of their branding materials both home and abroad, for a one year period.

THE text line for voting for the MTN Ghana Music Awards scheme has been activated. Therefore the MTN short code 1767 can be accessed by the general public who are encouraged to take part in the selection process by voting their favourite to win awards via text.
The voting process is simple enough, all one needs to do is send the alphabet representing the category that one wants to vote for to the MTN short code 1767. A reply text will follow with the list of that category and the patron can chose their nominee and send to the short code again. A confirmation text will confirm the validity of the vote.

That’s where I read most of the news of the American celebrities. I never see people leave any dumb comments about Tmz hating on celebrities but every time I come on here I realise how people want to complain about GC hating on one celebrity or the other.

And yes, for those of you who will question whether or not Nadia Buari told anyone her dress was an Oscar de la Renta, yes she did and her PR stated it as such in their press release. I am mentioning this just so we get that out of the way.
The Actress’ dress was so admirable that a certain individual obsessed with Oscar de la Renta’s gowns who saw Nadia Buari’s photo online contacted Oscar de la Renta Company by phone with the intention to make a purchase.
You should know what follows next by now. After Oscar de la Renta’s customer representative on the other side of the phone was provided with a link to the Nadia Buari’s so called Oscar de la Renta’s gown, the representative stated that, “I have never seen that gown”.

Lynx Entertainment, the youngest record [studio] label in Ghana issued out a press statement indicating reasons why they have decided to drop one member of the label popularly known as Asem. The label stated their reasons for the decisions to drop the GMA 2009 Discovery of the Year recipient.
The reasons according to the label were that, they [Lynx Entertainment] have had lots of differences in opinion as to the direction his [Asem] career should go.
