If I see any Ghanaian actor making it to Hollywood, its Majid Michael..phenomenal actor
yep
This movie in a way demonstrates the dynamic, volatile side of African life and highlight its weakness, honouring both the mainstays of the oppressed as well as rule-breakers and iconoclasts on the loose.
It is a sordid reminder of the fragility of peace and how greed, power and corruption unite to exploit the innocence of our people.
The originality of the central theme can be called into questions as it seeks to mimic the imagery of Sarafina and Hotel Rwanda. Nevertheless, it offers a positive glimpse into “what is yet to come”, especially the director’s almost cavalier attempt at experimenting with action-packed sequences.
This is worthy of emulation. If other directors follow suit and put much effort into their directorial chores, a new dawn of movie-making will be ushered in, ultimately bolstering international appeal for African Movies.
I co-sign that. The movie got potential to blow for sure. The scenes and song playing at the background definitely reminds me of “Sarafina.”
