I have always been the kind that will not give a man who is 5 years older than me a second look. 4 years older than me is the maximum and have never been ready to alter this entrenched position of mine.
I have been single for sometimes and for some reason, the years seem to run very fast when you are single. Soon I will be hitting 30 and still have not found that Mr Right (that is even if there is anything like Mr Right).
Recently, I met a man online-facebook to be precise. I am not leaving gaps in my search for someone to come and tell me that, I am still single because I have not considered other viable options where I can find a man.
This guy I met online told me he was 33 which was perfectly fine for me. He also told me about how buff and fit he is. How much he loves to be in the gym and all that.
To my disappointment, when we finally met for our first date last week, he was nothing close to all the descriptions he gave me.
I have developed a substantial interest based on the outlook he gave me plus the photos I saw of him….Now, I think the photos are more than 5 years old since he does not look younger as I saw in the photos.
I was bold enough to face him with my disappointment and asked him for his real age before even grabbing the wine glass. I was not surprised when he told me he is 39 and will be 40 soon.
Ouch!, that was a blow that knocked me several metres back…Here I am growing too quick without a man and yet not ready to go beyond certain age.
I am not sure if it is something personal or my feeling about older men is common among all…
This brings me to my question, how old is too old for you? Would you ever go into a relationship with a man or woman almost 10 years older than you or have you ever? If you have, how was the experience?
i believe the age do not matter.what if you get a guy who has the right age difference and has very bad habits,i you going to cop because of the age difference.a big no.so far as you get along with him and he possess some qualities you love then go girl.be sure he has no wife hidden somewhere.moreso,women begin to grow very fast especially after conceiving children.so it sometimes advisable to have a wide age difference.so that you grow along with the man.at times if the age difference is small the woman might looked older than the man after giving birth.

well,i think the age matters,u wld want a patner not a big brother or a father,therefore 10 whole years is too much,5 is ok considering the fact that women mature faster than men
to me age is just a number, coz a person maybe young/older but appears older/younger. what matters to is the appearance of the person i.e how fit, strong and healthy the person is.
at that stage You’re both adults. If you’re both interested, go for it but for him to me so insecure and show you some old pictures plus lie about his age is a bit risky to me
well now days facebook is the place well lovers, fuckers and friends meet so i wouldn’t be surprise for him to lie about his age and how he looks like
Funny thing is you can set your standards and say I will only go for this I will only gor for that and you meet someone who basically bypassing all your rules and check-list lol. I dont know why ppl do that ish though? Lie about their age ro details and then expect the person to be ok with it anyway! SMH. I would say I would go upto 10 years older if I was really into the person but that’s the absolute limit!

To me age is just a number. All depends on the type of man/woman you want in your life. I have a thirty year old man who looks like a forty-five yr man, and vice versa.
You know, women grown faster than men and for that matter, going in for a man who is only five years older will lead to the woman being seen as a mother to the man after two births! just do a simple search around town and you will agree with me.
Quality and character matters most. just sit down and revise your notes, do correstions where necessary and u will be fine!
