Till date, he has released four studio albums; Mario in 2002, Turning Point in 2004, Go in 2007 and DNA in 2009. In the early 2000’s he was ranked on Billboard’s (#98) “Artist of the Decade” list.

Known in showbiz circles as Nahum Grymes, J Holiday came into prominence in 2007 with his Bed chart topping song off the Back of My Lack album, which managed a number 5 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, the same year. Bed continues to be a favourite of most lovers of the genre in Ghana. The 27-year-old songwriter has featured extensively on the works of some of America’s A-listers including Fat Joe.

Given their combined impressive repertoire and experience, all two are sure to deliver what would go down in Ghana’s entertainment calendar for 2011 as a concert that came around, saw and conquered.

  2. I think they should slow down on the foreign acts. These artistes charge ridiculous amounts of money. They shd invest in our local artists to take them to higher heights.Ive seen videos of Dbank,2 face,p square, etc. on BET,in studios with Mary J Blige, cash money etc. They are about to conquer America. We have equal talent in Ghana that needs investment and promotion.Ive lost count of the number of foreign artists in Ghana it the last couple of years alone……but hey if thats what the people want and its all about profits then i guess thats what they will keep on doing, but its really not helping

      • @merel, i get what you are saying.I dont have a problem with bringing foreign acts,my problem is the investment in local acts and the seemingly shift in priorities which results in bringing as many foreign acts as possible. The frequency is what I am hoping will be reduced.
