Exclusive: Aluta Of ‘Things We Do For Love’ Fame Bounces Back! Says There Is Time For Every Body + He Has 7 Children Now!

Aluta Of Things We Do For Love Fame
Aluta Of Things We Do For Love Fame

I don’t know about you but for me, I still remember vividly the nostalgic feeling when the popular television weekly serialized ‘Things We Do For Love’ started, when the production house went on recess and when they came back to continue from where they stopped. Several years after, I’m still proud today to say I was an avid viewer of the TV series.

If there was any program in Ghana at the time that people loved on [as if they had any better option] GBC/GTV, the station of the nation, surely it would be because of ‘Things We Do For Love’.

The above assertion might not be entirely true, since it’s based on hunch. But it was one of the programs that made people stay glued to their television sets on Sundays before the major news to watch the entertaining, educative and informative series.

I still recollect clearly those years when most if not every student made sure their homework was done as early as possible to enable them watch the program without any hassle from their parents.

I also reckon it was one of the few programs on television at that time that made many children respect their parents and listened to whatever they said attentively in other for them to have the peace of mind to watch the program when it commences.

‘Things We Do For Love’ was a 30 minutes weekly series shown on Ghana Television. The direction of the series was under the tutelage of Ivan Quashigah and produced by Ad Vantage Productions. It starred the Majid Michels, the Jackie Appiahs, the Adjetey Anangs amongst others.

Several years later, the Ghana Movie Industry is benefitting immensely from these talents who once graced and made television exciting to watch in Ghana. Though majority of the cast are not active now, Shaker [Majid Michel], Enyonam [Jackie Appiah], Pusher [Adjetey Anang], Max [Vincent McCauley] are still rocking our screens.

Also from the same series but missing on the television scenes are Tsatsu, Killer [Abeiku Acquah], Dede [Alice Schreyer], Marcia [Sena Tsikata], BB [David Bossman], Zinabu [Adeline Adjokatcher], Ophebea [Yolanda] and others.

However, one of the casts who played Jackie Appiah’s brother and son of the contentious Mr. Blagogee, ‘Aluta’ has resurfaced from his hideout. Known in real life as Zimran Clottey, Aluta tried his luck on several projects, one of which was to become a musician. He also hosted a couple of shows in TV.

The Heads Housemates did a thorough job of spreading the nomination love on Monday (20 June) on M-Net’s Big Brother Amplified – all but Vina are in danger of being evicted this Sunday!

Zeus, Hanni, Vimbai, Wendall, Lomwe, Millicent, Felicia or Sharon O could find themselves moving to the Tails House – or heading home altogether – after the viewer vote this week.

This week’s Head of House ‘save & replace’ appeared to be one of the easiest in Big Brother history, as when the nominations were announced, only Felicia was not in danger.

Big Brother called first-time Head of House Vina into the Chat Room to make her decision and she couldn’t help but save herself and put the Malawian up for eviction in her place.

While the rest of the Housemates referred to her potential decision as ‘obvious’, Vina seemed to wrestle with the way Felicia would react to the swap – but ultimately the fact that she has been up for eviction every ‘Heads’ nomination week swayed her decision and she decided to take herself out of the firing line.

After surviving Eviction once and being whisked into Tails, Danny has been Evicted from the Big Brother House after seven weeks in the game but Nic was also not spared.

In true IK fashion, Kim was the first one to be asked to stand, followed by Danny then IK told her she had been saved but her beau, Nic, was still awaiting his fate. Kim couldn’t help herself, she screamed on top of her voice before breaking down.

The calm Ethiopian Housemate seemed puzzled at first but Alex quickly snatched him and gave him a long hug while Luclay just broke down.

Once on stage with IK, Danny thought it was just the girls who had nominated him but was shocked to see Alex on that list. Meanwhile, IK was back for the final announcement. Luweza clutched onto Karen after IK announced that she was safe then it was down to the two guys, Nic and Luclay.

Tish’s Corner: Who Is Your Secret And Biggest Ghanaian Celebrity Crush…

Van Vicker
Van Vicker

I know it sounds a bit silly and you might be thinking, there’s no way you’d have a celebrity crush but you should never say never. When I say a celebrity, I mean movie stars, musicians, sport icons and probably those chopping all our country money- politicians…

It was not a surprise to me when I saw a certain Obaa Yaa on TV proclaiming her strong love for football star Asamoah Gyan (video below).

Have you ever watched a movie and zoomed out upon seeing your favourite star? Celebrities have the most women and men in the world thinking they are sexy. Some worship their pictures, kisses the photos and have the wildest fantasies about them.

I have heard someone saying, when she is making love with her man, all she does is picture a certain celebrity (name withheld) as the one banging her and quickly, she gets to orgasm. Weird right?
