When news broke out that hip life artiste Mzbel, real name Nana Ekua Amoah had assaulted a police man; I was not that shocked since the saying ‘women are weaker vessel’ is never true.
Information reaching GhanaCelebrities.Com says that two Ghanaian actresses Khareema Aguiar and Ingrid Alabi knocked the hell out of a man at Spintex Road last night.
Our source said due to the heavy traffic at the Spintex road, every driver was playing smart to outwit each other – overtaking was the order of the day.
The two actresses were in Ingrid Alabi’s Honda – metallic grey car driving towards Baatsona when a young man signaled them to allow him to overtake them.
Ingrid who was behind the wheels refused his gestures. She didn’t see the reason why the man wants to dodge the traffic at their expense.
According to our source, this made the driver who was driving a Honda Bus forcibly and rudely overtaking them to enter their lane, in the process scratching the actress’s car.
Upon realizing the graze at the car, they prompted the driver to stop, so they can talk about it but the driver didn’t budge until they got to a traffic free road – then he driver sped off.
They managed to chase him for some time until they got to Ecobank Junction where they approached a policeman to help them by arresting and interrogating the driver but the uniformed officer ignored their pleas.
So the chase continued until they managed to overtake the vehicle and parked in front of him. The source continued that, the situation made the man angry; he got up from the vehicle and went straight to Ingrid to hit her.
Ingrid was said to have pushed the man aside, with Khareema coming to join the fracas. Soon, there were exchanges of blows between the three. The man was said to have been beaten thoroughly – he was subjected to the beatings of his life.
The crowd that gathered at the venue showed admiration for beating up the man. They were happy that the two actresses gave the man those dirty beatings that several years ago boxer Azumah Nelson would have subjected any of his numerous opponents to.
The man quickly ran to his vehicle and sped off. In actual fact, what men can do, woman can better.
Ingrid Alabi was the first runner-up of Miss Ghana 2004. She appeared in ‘Prince Bride’, a movie produced by Venus Film Productions. Also has also featured in ‘Tears Of Woman’, ‘Playboy’, ‘Girls Connection’.
Khareema Aguiar is the well known of the two actresses. She recently revealed to GhanaCelebrities.Com in an exclusive interview that her foundation has acquired a land at Kasoa to build a home for the aged in the Ghanaian society.
She shot into fame with a lead role in the television series ‘All That Glitters’. She has several movies to her credit.

They like doing this overtaking thing in ghana too much, and when u are a woman these trotro drivers dnt respect u at all because they think u are just a woman so it does not matter then they end up leaving a scratch on yr car this has happened to my mum before, it serves him right…….aboa next time when he wants to overtake he will remember the beating. they act as if they are the only ones in a hurry to get home. Instead of him to feel sorry he was goin to beat her too on top.
