Comic Relief, New Music: Thank God We’re NOT A Nigerians By Wanlov & Mensa

Thank God I Am Not A Nigerian
Thank God I Am Not A Nigerian

These guys call themselves ‘FOKN BOIS’ and they are the craziest you can find in Africa. If you do not meet Wanlov Da Kubolor strolling the streets of Accra in his skirt on barefoot, you will meet him playing some ‘chaskeley’ with the area boys…

Sometimes I am even feel bad these guys went to my school (Adisadel College)…That is how messed up they are…Lyrically, they are even worst…

These guys have played GIGS around the world than any Ghanaian musician you can think of…Recently, they were playing in Cuba! They spend all their time talking about WOMEN BUTTOCKS.

Thanks to GC loyal reader 27 Calibre for the video link

  4. I dnt think it was right to make a song like this… i mean we are all one am just tired of hearing this african country is better than the other lets just stop all these arguements and become one as a contenent. Lets be happy for each other and put the past behind us. Thats the only way we as ghanaians can move foward.

  5. Ahhhh,so was dis supposed 2 be funny or what?Wat do u gain from picking on Nigerians? In every nation der are gud & bad pple so why. dis? From the lyrics it seems they’re not even proud of their own Ghanaian beliefs & practices. If Nigerians prefer to eat eba & egusi instead of burgers wats wrong wid dat.If they wear their native clothes instead of dolce & gabbana, is dat a crime?Besides some of the problems they mentioned in the song like power cuts & traffic, we equally face them in our country as well so wats their point?Dis is really childish aimed @ creating unnecessary tension.KMT!!!

  7. o.k so wat was the whole point of this song.. From the begining I thought they were been sarcastic by using “Thank God we’re not a Nigerians” as the title.. But seriously this is so disrespectful.. This website is gradually becoming a place for ‘US’ we as Africans to hate on each other… This is a big mess. Sorry to my Nigerian brothers and sisters…

  8. two wrong dont make a right. As ghanains we must never stoop that low remember Nkrumahs dream for a united Africa? I believe that hand in hand with the nigerians (they are good at business and we are good at societal issues) we can build a better continent and fight the real enemy neocolonialism
but the whole idea is obviously wrong such two great african countries causing conflict to one another you cannot do something wrong to correct another it will end up becomming a cycl of hatred the thing i fear about nigerians is the fact that they tend to lack respect for each other and their selfish and greed has affected their economical climate whilst in ghana the media does a great deal to inform its government of what is going on. another reason is off-late there has been an increase in robbery by some nigerian gangs in ghana and in their own country its not supprising nigerians are finding it very difficult even to come to britain as a result of fraud and drug trafficking..so one of their methods is by migrating to ghana and applying for ghanaian passport.i am not entirely happy the fact that ghana and nigerians found oil in their country, its will only make their economy worse becasue of bad political leadership and policies a prime example is malaysia, had their independence the same time as ghana now look at them if you were to compare them again to ghana..bad leadership is the cause of all the negativity which sorrounds african countries. the whiteman dont care, the asian man dont care.. they know they are far aheard of technology than us so they would come use our own extracts and sell it to us who said savery has ended it is in a financial and an economical form BLACK AFRICANS we find it hard to collectivise because of the different hierachies in our systems the rich keeps getting richer and the poor keeps geting poorer to be able to stablise this system we need to balance the structure whereby the poor should be encouraged to work and be supported whilt the rich still mantain the hierachy thats how we do it in the western society, when we leave our own people behind we suffer the onsequences hence the problem with reccession

    • @27 calibre, I saw it they really hate ghanaians but this ghana nigeria thing who started it at all? we have to stop acting like kids…. anyway someone wrote a comment about how ghanaians use juju when we are about to play football with nigerians thats why ghana always wins, lol that one was really funny because its such a big lie who uses juju more than them? someone was also tlkin about coming for holidays and she sat in a bus next to a black woman and that the woman was soo black that she did not want her to touch her skin because she felt that it will destroy her light skin complextion. some where also saying that living in gh is not fun and in my head am like then why dnt u go back to nija…….. ghanaians i knw nigerians have done mean things to us in the past but lets just ignore them and focus on the future we will also get there someday, God is going to bless us all and most importantly our beautiful nation ghana.

  12. making  songs, calling names ,constant complaining about nigeria,,i dont understand ,ghana should be more matured than this.since this constant talk of ghana/nigeria on this site,i have started being more curious about  nigeria, and from what ican see, they do not really care, and trully they are quite fun to be with,so what is the noise all about.from some of their sites that i have visited  you hardly see any news about ghana, though sometimes about some few actors ,of which they hardly dwell on .they just keep moving on .today you gain ,and next day you can loose it.that is what life is all about, and i think that nigerians understand it better than ghanians.in good and in bad they are just happy set of p/p.every nation has its own good ,bad, and ugly.i do not think that any nigerian will love to be a ghanian, but at the end of all of this you are one p/p  and your future lies together with the rest of  africa. so get matured ghana, you worth more than this.the funny thing is that this does not even make news on their sites.that is sign of maturity.

You guys shd just go to hell with ur hypocritical tight-ass.It is comedy. It is a joke. The creativity is amazing. How many of you Ghanaians or Nigeriains havent made jokes about the other. You guys are saying you cant take a simple joke??….narrowminds!!!Didnt anyone heear them mention Liberia too at the end??…..These guys want to cause a stir and they are achieving that. They are playing on the sentiments of the whole Ghana-Nigeria rivalry and it is working. To the Nigerians here talking silly….”make you go do somersault”!!….You wish someone cared or respected you like you imagine in your head. And to the hypocrite Ghanaians actiing like they just broke all the 10 commandments.Stop being hypocrites, you know you find it funny….and to Miyagi…go eat a hot bowl of d*cks with your long ass nonsense. This is not the post to try and prove you have a brain.Get a sense of humore and laugh. You see how your face is “amoa moa”…You obviously need to stretch it by laughing…..hehehehehehe

When peace was in order among the natives slaves , slavery diminished where do you think jamaicans where taking from huh………. DONKY primarily from what is now Ghana and Nigeria
      2. Belief in witchcraft has been long established in Nigeria Today some families blame their children for everything from sickness to a father’s drunkenness many allegations come from fake pastors who charge for “exorcisms.” after the child has been accused of witchcraft  killing innocent children things like that only happens in Nigeria
