Kofi Adjorlolo at the launch of Ghana Movie Awards 2011
Veteran Actor Kofi Adjorlolo has lost his long term partner-Miss Charity Nyarko, a woman he intended to officially marry coming December.
According to Kofi Adjorlolo, Charity had a fibroid and yesterday (August 22,2011) she was rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery but unfortunately she could not make it.

@jessy, Fibroids are benign, they are not cancerous tumors therefore it doesn’t kill, people have the fibroid procedure(surgery) done here in the states all the time, nobody dies. Only in Ghana.

@miss dior, thats what i said,it does not kill,i have had fibroids operation too and so is my mum and we thank GOD that we had the oportunity to do it here in Europe,in Ghana you can never be sure,anything can happen.

my dear actor accept my condolence.that is why i have a philosophy that if you have something to do ,do it now and not procrastinate.because nobody knows tomorrow.they dated for too long.he should at most have married her four years into the relationship. also i want to suggest to him that he seek the face of God becos all his two unsuccessful marriages and this present situation needs Gods intervention.

@ jessy and miss dior, yes fibroids do not kill. However, they can cause complications such as severe bleeding, which leads to severe anaemia which can kill. It is not only in Gh where people die from complications of fibroid. If one seeks medical care late, then the danger of dying is real. People undergo surgery for fibroids all the time in Gh.
