Amber Rose In Ghana To Host Vodafone Concert & Giving Inspiration Speeches To Young Girls, What Do You Think?

From what I have gathered, most people are not happy that Vodafone Ghana ignored the various talented MCs we have in Ghana to go all the way to America to import  scandalous & former stripper-Amber Rose to come and host this year’s 020 live concert.

Amber Rose who is currently in Ghana has met female students from the Islamic Training Institute (J.H.S)  in Nima where she gave inspirational speech to empower the girls and aspire them for the highest in life. Really? Amber Rose giving such speech?

Anyway, what do you think of Amber Rose having been paid thousands of dollars to come to  Ghana to host the 020 Live Concert and also do you think Amber Rose has any morals left in her for her to go and talk to our little sister in schools about empowerment and inspiration ?

  1. I was really disappointed when i first read she MCing in GH. no disrespect but she lost it with me when she started going out to Wiz…the only thing i like about her is she is proud of where she’s from as she always says she’s west african (just not sure which country tho).
On the other hand I think the organisers weren’t interested in the fake accents our local MCs/Celebrites have (not that i know any apart from Kwame Sefa something) hence went in for the real deal – real American accent…lol
On a serious note however i just dont get it! Why?

          • @miyagi,they are posted that pic to tarnish her image ,she is a changed woman or girl now ,you cant judge a person by the past ,she is hooker or whatever  but thats her past

    • @kk, You don’t seems to understand whats going on here, yes we consider Confidence as a celebrity in Ghana and what else do you EXPECT? Kill ourselves for Amber? What the hell is wrong with some of you? We are asking if indeed its right for Vodafone to bring her down here to host their show. Share your views and stop telling Ghanaians what you want them to do. Thanks for commenting anyway.

  5. i personally do not see anythin wrong wit her coming to host the show…….about her givin inspirational speeches, whats wrong wit dat??? we have ppl in dis country who shouldn’t even be on tv or radio yet we hail dem…..it’s gud u stated dat she is a former stipper…….we shouldn’t judge ppls present based on their past…..The Arch Bishop Duncan Williams is an example.are we sayin dat because we stole in the past, he cannot advice ppl?????? we pray dat one day, our ppl will also have the opportunity to represent in other countries…how do we exepct dis if we don’t want others to represent here?

h, why are u replying on everyones post, as if you want them to agree with u
I personally see no problem in her coming here, she is paid to host events, launches, parties etc in hollywood so I am guessing thats why they are bringing her, plus she is an attention grabber, more ppl are likely to pay attention to the event if she is mc’ing than if nana aba or someone else local was hosting.
ITS A BUSINESS THEY R RUNNING

      • @Posted By: GC Staff, are we not tired of seeing the same faces over and over again on our shows?????????if it’s not Kwame Sefa, it’s Chris Attoh or Gideon Ayeequaye…..it’s important sometimes to change things up a lil…………why don’t we also say dat dey could ahve used Kojo Antwi or kwabena Kwabena to headline the show….variety is the spice of life baby…….

    • Its pure economics, she has been brought in to MC the event because she can and WILL pull in the numbers. with our obsession with celebs and american celebs in particular, you cant query the logic behind vodafones decision. Its makes perfect business sense! When we have americans headlining our lcoal events and we all go bonkers because busta rhymes or kanye is coming to Ghana, what do we expect.

  6. Why wouldnt they bring someone with class.. this female is a gold digger hoe, and if ghana wasnt paying her, she wouldnt even come.. most of these stupid black americans or americans in general dont respect africa, and would never visit there if they werent getting paid.. its a shame.. some of them dont even know theres beaches or buildings in africa and they think we walk around with wild animals all over us.. they could of choosed someone in america with real african decent.. lets wake up africa

    Reply
    • @JONJON, did you say choosing someone from america with an african descent? looking for a real african descent in america is abit silly. what happened to real africans from africa? a celebrity or non celeb with class and no skeletons in the closet is non existent and yes she probably came cos she is getting paid, who wouldn’t…. i hope and pray you dont go to work for the fun of it.

No one will respect africa when africa doesnt respect its own and you spearhead calls to find people with real african descent in america, when real africans are not extinct…..wake up!

    • @yuliA,Well you don’t seem to notice but her tits and pu**y  is posted all over the internet worldwide. I wouldn’t want such a girl to come lecturing my little sister or any family member for that matter about “inspiration”. How worse can it get.

  9. Honestly speaking, I think they could have found a good presenter in Ghana to host the event. But thats not the case, Vodafone decided to go for Amber and pay her to host an event. They can afford her and thats what she does here in the states. She may not be what ppl think of as a role model but I think she can be one, regardless of how she dresses, whom she used to date or date and what she used to be in the past. People grow, and learn from their past to better themselves. And, also I think she fit a certain criteria that Vodafone was looking for, I mean shes confident, sassy, bawdy and etc. So as for me, as long as shes not influencing the kids in a bad way, I dont see the reason why ppl are insulting her or disagreeing with the choice Vodafone made.

P.S. its about tyme, Africans especially Ghanaians start to be open-minded and not judge people.

  10. miyagi, thanks man .i do cherish your fairness.the picture above is solely  for one   purpose            ———-to make amber  really look bad.to make sure that p/p really say bad things about her  and agree totally with the writer.i  m ean  when are we ever going to learn.they can find mc in ghana but, remember that vodafone is a global brand and can use both  outside              and local  whatever they want.while    you try to be in control of your destiny as africans ,remember that we are all this world together, and there is no way african entertainment industry can get the recognition it needs without  having outsiders com e  in once in a while  to  help b oost the recognition  and quality that african industries needs.

  12. Ghana this is a shame that most of u re appreciating the fact that Rose is in Ghana after all she will only teach ur young ones immorality. Most evenly, the muslim ghanians that even entertain this stripper are somewhat to be questioned. Please apply morality in all ur day-to-day dealings. Forget the token amount to be given to u.

  13. Shut up all all Ghanaian’s, why do u behave as if u are angels or Jesus who didn’t taste sin when he was on earth? Why do we sit in our homes and criticize about someone as if we are holy? You can call Rose Amber a stripper or a prostitute or whatever that is a past mistakes but what is important now is her present life. Saul in the Bible times was so cruel and a persecutor who was mistreating the followers of Jesus but later when the spirit of God came on him, he became a new person. So Amber you know is a changed person and you can’t judge her now by her past mistakes. That’s God’s beauty. He chooses the foolish things to confuse the smart, and the humble things to bring down the proud. We are all human and we are bound to make mistakes and that doesn’t mean that God has given up on us. God still loves her so please stop judging because you are not God to judge.
