Happy Birthday GhanaCelebrities.Com, 3 Years Of Being Online…What Do You Think So Far?

3 min

GhanaCelebrities.Com popped up on the worldwide web on 1st October, 2008. Today marks our 3rd Anniversary of providing juicy rumours and conjecture in addition to reporting accurate facts on Ghana’s Entertainment & its fast developing Celebrity culture.

3 years of running GhanaCelebrities.Com has been challenging, exciting, beautiful and messy. What started as a simple Blog platform to rant and express opinions on issues of interest has rapidly gain authority, recognition and has become the number 1 Ghanaian Entertainment focused online media.

It has been great and we have come this far because of you (our readers). Our write-ups and content have found their way to several unimagined platforms. As our authority on Ghanaian Entertainment & Celebrity news gets entrenched, our standing has been recognised by bigger media outlets in and out of Ghana.

Through our published content, GhanaCelebrities.Com has received several mentions by Studio 53 (DsTV) GTV, TV3, Metro TV, Peace Fm, Joy Fm, Ghana News Agency, Asempa FM, Luv Fm and other reputable & influential media outlets.

On the internet, we seem to be everywhere…LOL. We have received mentions on the popular Urban Blog- NecoleBitchie.Com, ClutchMagazine.Com, Ghanaweb.Com, Myjoyonline.Com, Multitvworld.Com, Citifmonline.Com, GhanaMusic.Com and many others.

Thanks to all the team members and media partners who have made this possible. We are where we are today not just because of our writings; it is your massive support as Readers which have given us the vibrancy and the voice to keep going. Your criticisms and lashes have also kept us on our toes…

It is the spirit of disagreement to agree that has kept us all (bloggers & readers) as a family on GhanaCelebrities.Com. We love everyone and everything Ghanaian.

To all the celebrities who have supported and have shown appreciation for our work, we say Thank You. I wish I can mention names of those who have supported and those who have hated to the extent that, they have tried to sue us and even shut us down.

3 years of GC’s existence online, I am excited and hope you are too. Special thanks to the various GC die hard readers such as GoldenGurl, Opanin, Miss Dior, Goodies, Madam Social, Lily, Adjoa nbaaso), Akosuaghana, Inchristalone, Akosua, Mimi, Maame, Tiffanybabe, Kin, Cici, Frempomah, and not forgetting “you”.

What can I say again apart from the fact that I am so so excited to have started this Blog and to have all you (millions of people) as our friends, readers and critics…

We listen to our readers and appreciate their thoughts, so if there are certain things you think should be improved, brought back or let to go for the betterment of GC, feel free to let us know using the comment box and we will get it going right away.

Happy Birthday GC and thanks to all our readers…Love y’all!

  4. congratulations to the GC team…3 years already, makes you an established outlet, fact that most startups get stagnant, or fold up within the first year means you are doing something right and some of us appreciate the hard work that goes on beyond the scenes. savor the moment.

I hopes the unnecessary and unfair post about particular celebs will halt to make this blog even bigger and more successful than it has been and to attract a wider and more “matured” readers across the globe…….maybe a young entrepreneurs gong….just maybe

More friends, less foes, more traffic less law suits lol. WELL DONE GUYS!
