Nadia Buari At GUBA
Nadia Buari At GUBA

Who is Nadia Buari’s stylist at all? It doesn’t seem to get better… You guys can say whatever you want but until I see a substantial change, I will keep saying the obvious. Nadia Buari is undoubtedly very stunning but her stylist is not doing her any good.

If she has no stylist then she has to quickly grab one. In fact, I can help her by recommending some people for her. Look at how her HAIR was done…You can’t tell me you cannot spot the obvious. It is a MESS for me and this is not about picking on her or anything so don’t even go there.

Dress looks great though it is not Oscar Dela Renta but the hair kills all her fab FOR ME.

At the recently held GUBA 2011 awards inLondonwere John Panstil, WanLov, Asamoah Gyan, Nadia Buari, Menaye Donkor and others…

  1. Yeah, it’s ok with her hair. Nadia is just copying Beyoncé, nothing wrong with that. However, that American accent…. PLS … PLS …. PLS Nadia you gotta stop! It’s just so annoying!!!! It’s making obviously making it impossible to choose some vocabulary. Which is what happen when you speck with fake accents!
Oh well…. Maneye hair looks nice and stylish. That Kobolo guy’s funny!

    • @Akosua,Her accent sounds ok to me…the interviewer rather sounds like he is trying hard to maintain a british accent rather? what is the deal with her accent?

    • @Akosua,What makes you think she is copying beyonce even if she did is she the only person on earth or is it woman Abeg come better than that

      Reply
      • @Ironboy, Because she dose, can’t you see it?!? many of her style are very similar to Bey’s. But there’s noting wrong from copying as long as you got it right which I think she dose, compare to many Ghanaian celebs.

        • @Akosua,can’t I see what was beyonce. The created of that hair style I mean your a lady when you go to the saloon don’t you copy hair styles or whatever from the book I mean these I think it’s about time you stop comparing people don’t you think even though I don’t no you, you want see me judging you but respect your opinion but look again there’s is nothing wrong with her hair style I bet you when she she is half caste and most half caste girls always like to go for that particular hair style but I do understand where your coming from

    • @Akosua,It amazes me,how some people act like they are so much better than others, and they have nothing..they put their pants on the same as we do.AND they have nothing

        • @Ironboy, and Vanne: you people don’t understand! did I do anything that’s hating?!?! I just said what I think she got inspiration from! Inspiration is not a bad thing! Pluse I also said on some of my above comment that I like her. So who’s talking about hating?!?! You guys we need to stop this with he/she hating thing. People have the right to like or hait a celeb, it’a part of the game!!!

          • @Akosua,Well it’s not about what you did but you your to judgemental again what makes you think she is copying beyonce because of the curly hair if that’s so than there are millions of people and baby,s copying her than haven’t you ever had the same hair style if so had someone ever judge you buy that your copying beyonce but dark version I assume your darker than  nadia

    • @Akosua, omg im sick n tired of u ppl talkng about nadia’s. come to d usa n c how som africans r trying to force demselves to speak slang n things. she is just speakn her natural tone. its not lyk she is speakn lyk fake stephanie okereke. let me tell u dis. imagine u had a child at labone or osu and all u speak in d house is english. u mingle with foreign n english speakn ppl. deft ur accent is not gona sound lyk sombody who is highly educated from chorkor. becus apart from ga, dat person speak twi n oda languages. so d tonation is gona sound differn cus they were raised in a non english speakn enviornment. same thing applies if the environment u live or wer raised in was full of ppl speakn english. in time u polish ur english as u travel n meet ppl.

if u are ten yrs old n u speak the best twi in gh, and u travel to usa or uk. i bet u, ur accent is not gona sound lyk ur mama who lived der 4 over 40yrs. so also wil ur accent not be lyk the one born in the usa. der is always a difference. dont expect her speak lyk u. y didnt ppl criticise okereke n co. jackie has d fakest accent. mumma y3n gwini.adeeen.

u ppl shud travel n know b4 u bring out grabbish n i repeat grabish

      • @akuah, you know what? Africans can forget about them self, culture and so on I don’t give a F*#&#. IT’S A FREE WORLD Just think it’s silly with all this fake accents going on in Ghanaian and Naija movies. We are in free World so we all have the right to say what we want. Just NO INSULT!!!
And yes I’ll speak if it was talking about Steph Okereke, Jackie and all them lot. But it’s Nadia hun! But then I can care less about Steph Okereke, as I don’t like that much of Naija movies.

PS: fake accent… but hey, I still watch the movies, so it’s kind of my headache not yours!!!

PSS: Now which China taking over Africa, what’s it gonna speak with chinese accents? since that’s what Africans are good at, adapting anything but theirs!?!?!! 🙂

  5. It seems like all entertainers and journalists are trying so hard to have either an Britain accent or an American accent. The sad thing is, most of them have not even lived in the country for a year or more. This is ridiculous. Why can’t we be ourselves? Why do we always try to pretend to be that which we are not. That is so sad, and shameful. No wonder, we have adopted the foreign lifestyle and the poor are suffering immensely.

    • @Yaa, Thx for noticing. Now all Ghanaian and Naija movies are fill with this fake accents! What’s all that about? You’re sooo right. if you’re poor you act like African, your self and if you’ve “made it” act like American! We need to keep and respect your culture if we want others to notice and respect us.

      Reply
    • @Yaa, what is wrong with you people and accents…there is nothing wrong with someone trying to better themselves and accent too.Whats so great about speaking with african accent?so do you like the other guy who spoke like he cant speak proper english with his african accent?if the reporter lives in england,he will speak that way accept it or leave it…Y’all need to stop

      Reply
      • @Myladymo,Ok. Pure logic. If there is nothing great about speaking with one’s own (in this case african) accent, then what is so great about switching to pick up somebody else’s accent?  That sounds like a logical question right?

        Reply
      • @Myladymo,So you are trying to say having an African accent generally makes ones come across as  “not eloquent”?  or am I getting this wrong. Correct me if am wrong please. I stand to be corrected.

  7. yea what is wrong with the accent…that’s how she talks everyday…and what is really wrong with the hair…it looks like its sewing weave with braids in the front, which most ghanaians do

  8. Please let us think! The lady rocking the medusa looking hairdo with which she took one of the pictures with koraa.. took her MEdusa hair style to the event!! ROTFLMAO. The lady with the buddha hairdo (I mean the dreads are ok but still looks like Buddha) sitting by Kubulor is rocking her hair  like that!! Menaye is rocking her fake tresses and Nadia is also rocking her fake tresses…nothing wrong with the hair!! Ah ba!
I also get the feeling Akosua Ghana is a lesbian, always commenting about other womens’ boobs or better  still she is a man(i suspect Chris Vincent himself) ! Today someone’s boobs has fallen, tomorrow this..yours don’t look to be standing or firm in your profile pic…why don’t you do yourself a favor and buy yourself an uplift bra first!! SMH

  9. GOSH, who is the chick in the last photo? How much is a bra in london? Can’t she get one.why put that abetia breast on display like that?

Nadia is just always going to keep faking everything. from dress to accent. This girl has not lived anywhere abroad more than 6 months yet she forces herself to speak in some bad accent. she is looking old and older each day.

I think Menaye is looking good.

  17. Its amazing how serious people actually sit to analyze quite irrelevant stuff that are not at all necessary in every sense. It  in fact baffles me how some people derive their information from in the first place let alone finalizing them to make them sound true which is actually not. Constance Ama Wusuaah is not and has not been a fiancé or girlfriend to Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu(Kubolor) and the fact that they hang about together doesn’t mean so.
Ama is a completely different person who has a good sense of humour so as the Kubolor and they just get on very well. So people, Ama and Emmanuel are just friends ok? And yes, she is an up and coming celebrity but her style is stay cool behind  the scenes and do her own style. Please allow her and give her some peace. if you wanna know her just  add her on Facebook and I believe she will be glad to be your  friend.

GC do you have something against Nadia or what ABA you are always on her case what about your angel Jackie the one whom is so naturally endowed that she does not apply pomade on her POSER Nadia’s hair is fine on her if you knew anything about what is trending now of which I am sure you don’t you will notice that she has thin highlights in them which in the west is called the rich look because poor people can not afford highlights. And it is curly hair which accentuates her already beautiful face let her be .What are you going to talk about next her symmetric face? Although I don’t like her tattoos she one gorgeous Woman

  20. uhhhhhhh. sorry to disagree, but she’s not fully ghanaian. she’s half german and she lived in america or something, so of course her accent will be a little different…. also wat is wrong wit using beyonce as r inspiration??? i dont get it.. she is just doing what suits her…

    Reply
  21. @akuah: I totally agree with you. I’ll take Nadia’s accent over anything that you people call african accent. She is beautiful and has an attitude so what? Most of the holier than thou people hating on her are sleeping with sugardaddies to make money, at least she has a job and making the best out of it. Stop hating on her and if her beauty is too much for you then wear sunglasses. Lol…Bring these women up and don’t take part in woman bashing. That Kubolo guy what has he done? But if its a guy no one seems to mind and allow them to do stuff. Girls, wake up and bring up your own and stop bringing each other down. I like Nadia and all the other ladies out there hustling. Talent or not, old or not, fake accent or not.

@Fili: Menaye has long fingers because she’s about 5’10 or 5’11 very tall. That’s why she’s a model. She also has an accent (Canadian), hopefully people won’t start saying she should speak in ghanaian accent.
Peace and love everyone. Remember ladies, if you don’t take care of each other men will continue to assist you to bring each other down. And open your minds and stop being stuck in some crazy old time mentality.

  22. Oh ho! Ghanaians! In fact cant stop lafing! After reading ya comments, its made my gloomy day much better. I normally don’t comment on sites such as this but i have to do it this time around. Is it wrong to be a successful female actress or artiste in Gh? Cos thats wat it looks like to me. People will always find faults with u no matter what u bring to the table in Gh. Its true what they say,we all have the PHD syndrome. Fake accents, bad hair do,big noses, shapeless girls? is that what are concerned about? Cmon people! These ladies are doing super in the various aspects of thier careers. Instead of us patting them on the back,we are here criticizing them on their looks and accents! Critique should be channeled towards their line of work. As the saying goes if you have nothing nice to say, then dont speak at all. Rest my case
