American Film Maker, Samad Davis Chases 4Syte Music Video Awards After Giving Ghana First Ever Award At Channel O Awards With ‘Dadie Kye’!

After directing a music video ‘Dadie Kye’ that won for Samini Ghana’s first ever award at the Channel O awards in South Africa, New Jersey based American film maker, Samad Davis is looking at winning an award at the 4Syte Music Video Awards 2011 slated for the Dome, Accra International Centre.

He is among the top music video directors whose music videos will be fighting for honours at the awards scheduled for Saturday November 19.

Samad directed six [6] of the videos which grabbed fifteen [15] nominations in ten [10] categories. His nominated videos include ‘Dadie Kye’, the video that won the ‘Most Gifted Ragga Dancehall Video Artiste’ for Samini at the 2011 Channel O awards in South Africa. Ghana’s first ever award at the Channel O.

The rest of the videos are ‘Imagination’ by ManSing Angel, ‘Move Back’ by Five5, ‘Waist & Power’ by 4X4, ‘Tell Them’ by Iwan and Becca’s ‘Push’ and ‘African Woman’.

Charity Concert: Late Lucky Dube’s Daughter Nkulee Dube To Stage ‘The Hole-In-Heart Charity Concert’ In Ghana!

Nkulee Dube, the daughter of the late South African based reggae musician Lucky Dube is billed to stage a charity concert in Ghana dubbed ‘Hole-In-Heart Charity Concert In Ghana’ to raise funds to support children with the ‘hole-in-heart sickness.

The charity concert which is being organised by RAM Media Concept is to solicit for funds to provide funding for parents of children who have been diagnosed of the sickness but cannot afford to raise funds to cater for the operation or surgery.

Due to high cost of the surgery/operations, most of the parents are unable to meet the cost of the operations and therefore resort to the public for support.

On daily basis on Ghana television, parents of children with suffering from hole-in-heart disease has urged philanthropists to help them with funds to enable them pay for the surgery or operations of their wards.
