becca is good, but come on efya is really really good. Becca’s flaw is that her vocals are not as on point as say Efya or Irene but she cares about her craft a lot. Efya has lots of potential even internationally, she just needs to work hard ( and stop doing drugs if its true).

Becca is more marketable while Efya unfortunetly doesn’t have the X factor and she doesn’t appeal to the masses, her lyrics doesn’t have meaning while Becca’s songs are really inspirational!!! I truly believe that Efya wont go as far as Becca, she’s not talented she is just the average akosua girl in the hood.

This is a tough one. They are both talented. Very talented in different ways. Becca doesnt just sing, but she owns a trademark. She has style, unusual confidence and boldly experiments into new areas. The way she infuses African rhythms and themes into her craft is akin to what sets stars like makeba, kidjo etc apart. Becca is potentially a huge star, and what is special about her is that she has owns the whole package, and does not need anyone to propel her onto the big stage. She will get there herself, with or without a star promoter.
Efya on the other hand does not have all these additionals that Becca has. It is hard to see Efya propelling herself to the big stage unless she is DISCOVERED. However, what Efya does not have in terms of the “additonals” she has in her voice. Agreed that Becca has a wonderful strong voice that can go global, but Efya’s voice is definitely more easily relatable and will be easily accepted worldwide. Efya is continuously improving her voice and confidence and she is continuously challenging herself with bigger and tougher vocal tests. All that Efya needs is one international exposure and she will be an instant hit. So who is better of the two? Well, hard to tell, but they are both great artistes doing Ghana proud ….

I notice alot that becca does not rhyme in her songs, she only goes in for points she obviously want to carry out to listeners. another thing also is that becca’s style is more of african whiles efya goes in for he comtemporal r&b style. with r&b it involves alot in creativity considering lot of things but in african style that becca does its main point is to have a powerful voice and carry out a point mainly in our daily african lifes. so to give to who i say i give to efya

Well its about time i read about other’s opinion on this….cos its something me and ma friends have been debating on for a couple of time now..
Becca is good, not doubt about that but Efia is really a big deal..she’s got a unique style that can be internationally recognised. I see the Asa thing in her….she wasn’t all dat when she started but now she’s really improved and grown into it…..Efia obviously is my pick m8..
I’d say Becca. she is “more Ghanaian oriented in her music than Efya . Also internationally recognized.. Hugh Masekela the legend has done a song with her, strong solid voice. I like her.. a lot! I want date am s3f.

Becca is good, but i think she needs to work on her voice more. Her voice is sometimes just too big. I love Efya because when i hear her songs it just captures me. I’ve heard Efya sing live on so many occasions and its just so souful. I love her lyrics and her smooth voice. Becca is big cos she has the money, the good record deal and all that, if Efya had what Becca has now, she’d be bigger than what Becca is now. I relate to Efya more than Becca. I think Efya is much better than Becca, when i hear Efya it reminds me of Lira from South Africa. I think we should all watch out for Efya!

com’on guys.it takes only those with music ears and abilities to really answer this question. richie did a good thing there by digitally tampering on Efya’s voice using wat we call AUTOTUNE. but unfortunately for him it was too sharp which is a bad effect on vocal.we all recall wat really made Ofori Amponsah to slack in music. his vocal was being autotuned into something silky and many pple tought that was his normal voice until her exposed himself in his concert.now thats the issue with Efya. u can differentiate the two by their stage performance with life band where wat u bring out is wat pple hear and not the situation where digital effects will be added to the vocal or u will have to record a number of times for the best 1 to be picked.guys pls listen to the 2 songs again, but this time with a musical ear and u will understand wat am talking abt. I ROOT FOR BECCA. SHE IS REALLY A DIVA. she may not have the whitney houston and celin dion voice but she has something which only few african artiste have. i will call her THE ETTA JAMES of ghana.keep doing ur thing BECCA.

this is a hard one…lemme see,when it comes to delivery, i’ll give it to Becca cos Efyas delivery mostly is over exaggerated. for lyrics, it’s still Becca though she doesn’t write all her songs. when it comes to stage command,Efya carries the day.
the two are talented no doubt about that but Efya’s kind of voice is common. Whenever we talk about good vocals we think about Efya’s kind of voice. But Becca has a unique vocal. For me Efya has already got what she needs to be a very great singer. I more often see her name among artists to perform on a show than I see that of Becca. Becca’s music is afropop oriented whiles Efya’s music is soul oriented. If the choice should be made just based on vocals I would go for Becca because of the uniqueness but in adding other criteria like lyrical content and rythm I will go for Efya. One thing for sure these two have in common is that they never ever fail to perform with a live band.
So away with the old and welcome to the new lol ..me personally i think Efua got the voice as a back up singer but NOT solo…so BECCA all the way ;] but GOD bless all musicians
