The whole Jesus & God hypothesis is a dicey and a sensitive subject…However, the video below makes it more fun and interesting…
Please if you are easily offended by religious discussions and rants, please do not watch the video. And if you are such a person, then forget about your so called HEAVEN because heaven as far as I know is not for angry people…You may get there and probably get piss at God…
Anyway, check out the video below
If you do not know the UK’s Guardian, then just head to google…Few weeks ago, I had an email from a Guardian journalist who asked if I could help her with high resolution photos of Mzbel…
I wanted to find out what a British journalist wanted with our Mzbel so I curiously emailed back. She told me they were working on a feature which will look at Showbiz around the world, and they wanted to highlight on Mzbel…
I was happy about this and informed Mzbel about it…I emailed several photos of Mzbel to the Guardian, hoping that our star will get into that feature…
Today, I decided to check on the publication to see if Mzbel ever made the cut and BINGO, Nana Ekua Amoah aka Mzbel was on there.
I am not very much pleased with the content since it was all about Mzbel’s troubles…( I guess it is so because they were writing about celebrities and their bad behaviour).
All the same, the Guardian is a huge and very well respected international platform so for Mzbel to be on there is a blessing and a BIG deal…
She can add it to her bragging rights…
Check below for what the Guardian wrote about Mzbel…
What to do when you’re a pop star stood accused of running over a traffic cop in your Mitsubishi 4×4, then beating him up for good measure afterward? If you’re Mzbel, Ghana’s answer to Ke$ha, the options seem obvious: sit pretty on The One Show sofa (west Africa edition). Or, alternatively, channel the whole nasty business into a new comeback track and call it (Get Off) My Bonnet. Starring a fake cop being violently thrown off your car. Take that, pigs!
Being a bit image savvy about these things, Mzbel (real name Nana Ekuah Amoah) has decided to do both. According to news reports, the musician and two male pals last summer left a policeman “hooked dangerously on the bonnet” of Mzbel’s car, the man being driven some distance before being thrown off.
The Ghanian press claimed that Mzbel then attempted to slap and strangle the officer. All nonsense, says the Mzbel PR machine this spring; just a traffic violation blown out of proportion. True, the 32-year-old was arrested and held in a cell for a weekend and the case was splashed all over the papers, but why worry over the boring details? After all, “no matter how long we have traveled on the wrong road, we can always turn round”, as Mzbel tweeted (without irony) earlier this month.

With the likes of Kyeiwaa real name Rose Mensah, Ebenezer Donkor, aka Katawere and many others all having a smooth transition from television series to movie stars, one would have thought that Adwoa Smart, real name Belinda Oku for all her talent and versatility would have joined the bandwagon too.
But she has decided to stay away from that for the moment, not because she has not received offers but she’s decided to wage a crusade against low-paying producers by turning down movie roles offered her.
Explaining her absence from the movie scene to Showbiz last Monday, Adwoa Smart said it was not as a result of not being offered roles by producers but because she has decided not to feature in movies literally for free. (more…)
After several months of releasing their ‘Kolom’ track, the video is out. Was it leaked? I don’t know about the leakage but below is the video.
Let’s hear your thoughts. (more…)
If you live in Ghana and you are aware of the various businesses (no matter how lithe they may seem) being run by Ghanaian women, you will not be amazed that a recent study by Barclays says; the number of female entrepreneurs in Ghana far outweighs the number of men entrepreneurs…
The same study found out that, Ghanaian women are also more saving conscious that British women, with 94 % of our Ghanaian women putting something aside each month compared to only 55% of British women.
And on yeah, our women are not only saving conscious, they are far ambitions that their British counterparts. The study mentioned that, about 90% of Ghanaian women are hoping to start their own company one day compared to just 41% Brit women…
The above facts were featured in this month (March, 2012) edition of Stylist Magazine-Issue 118. It makes you proud right?
It seems that the Wanlov’s exposure on Delay’s show has not only caused Deloris Frimpong Manso’s show on TV3 to be suspended till further notice.
It appears the friendship between Panji Anoff, the manager of Wanlov and Blakk Rasta is about to end suddenly concerning what happened during a live studio discussion on GhOne’s E-Talk show hosted by Mandy Jay.
After the supposed free showing on television, rather unnecessary, reggae artiste Blakk Rasta commented on the exposure when he was called by a radio station in Ghana.
He said: “Wanlov Kubolor is a brother but I think that he over did it this time round. He is a man who wants people to think that he is an ‘I don’t care’ but his attitude is a disgrace to men in general. He can practice his ‘I don’t care’ attitude when he gets to his house but not haul decent people into it. It’s a shameful thing a public figure should not have done”.
Panji Anoff in his seat as the manager of Wanlov defended what his artiste did. He said he didn’t see anything wrong with what he did, after all his exposure wasn’t done during a live program.
After Blakk Rasta had called Wanlov a ‘disgrace to men in general’, there was war on Twitter between the two with Mensa’, Wanlov’s partner-in-crime stepping in to throw insults and accusations. Panji came into the fray and threatened to sue Blakk Rasta for referring to Wanlov as being in cocaine.
Blakk Rasta joined in midway in the discussion on phone to explain himself. Lots of unpalatable things were said.
