UN Applauds Chiropractic & Wellness Centre For Honouring Ghanaian Celebrities!

The United Nations has invited the Chiropractic and Wellness Centre (CWC) in Ghana to partake in this year’s UN World Autism Day, which falls on Monday, April 2.
The decision was as result of the centre’s past and recent activities in giving attention to autistic patients and also forging a good relationship between people with neurological disorders and influential celebrities in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
On Monday, April 2, the Chiropractic and Wellness Centre’s Dr. Marcus Manns will join UN officials at a special UN World Autism Day event at New Horizon School at Cantonment to give a talk on autism and chiropractic treatment.

The lead scout of the 2012 edition of Ghana’s most prestigious beauty pageant, Adi Plahar, says he is optimistic of an improved and exciting event this year.
The professional model instructor today said if the results achieved so far with the nationwide scouting process embarked upon by his competent team who went in search of beautiful, witty and purpose-driven young ladies for this year’s event is anything to go by, then an exciting competition beckons.
Plahar is upbeat about the success of this year’s event, after having toured the length and breadth of this country, interacted and identified potential beauty queens for this year’s event.
Plahar’s team would officially wrap up their process this weekend in Accra, after spending quality time in the other regions. Prior to making a grand entry into Accra, he is excited about the quality they found in the other nine regions.

Come the month of April 2012, Miss Ghana UK 2011, Miss Mildred Akuba Mamikyi Afoh Edoukou will be in the country to undertake a series of activities. Chief among them will be the Reading Experience with Miss Ghana UK.
The nineteen year old beauty queen is currently a full time student at the University of Bedfordshire where she is studying Interior Architecture. Miss Edoukou (Miss Ghana UK Beauty Pageant) recently won the Best Black Beauty Pageant in the UK, Miss BEFFTA Awards 2011.
The Reading Experience will see the beauty queen running multiple Reading Clinics in Accra and the Tema metropolis. She will be joined at these Reading Clinics by several Radio/TV personalities together with who they will engage the children in reading exciting texts and other academic materials.

Event powerhouse and organizers of the Ghana Music Awards Festival, the nation’s most prestigious awards scheme revealed yesterday details on tickets for the Big Night.
Tickets for this year’s finals of the awards start selling from Monday April 2nd to Tuesday April 10th 2012 only at Koala, Charterhouse and X-Men.
The VGMA 2012 Awards Night is scheduled for the Dome on April 14th 2012 and witness performances from 20 top artistes from Ghana,   South Africa, UK, Nigeria and Congo.
