Hard-working star actress Juliet Ibrahim stormed St. Marie Louise Hospital in Accra with donation of free medicines and nutritional supplements.
On a sunny Friday afternoon, the 27^th of April, the Juliet Ibrahim Foundation team pulled up to the gate of St. Marie Louise Hospital. Team JIF as they are popularly called arrived in a convoy of cars with loaded medicines and nutritional supplements.
On behalf of her foundation and supported by the AmeriCares in USA, she delivered numerous drugs that would have immediate impact in the lives of patients.
A lot of celebrities strive to give back to the community but we are yet to see any other celebrity match the level of social engagement that Juliet Ibrahim has reached in the sort time since she launched her foundation (Juliet Ibrahim Foundation) – www.julietibrahimfoundation.org last December.
Although she has always found a way to reach her fans by dedicating her time and resources whenever required to developing her community, a conscious effort by her and her family to launch a foundation that would be the staple of her legacy was a perfect decision that she remains proud of till today.
AmeriCares Medical Outreach Program supplies medicines and medical supplies, provide volunteer medical care to people in desperate need of help. They partnered with the Juliet Ibrahim Foundation to enable them reach those in need in Ghana.
AmeriCares provided a range of medications to treat pain, fever, hypertension, diabetes and other common health concerns that often go untreated in the absence of access to primary health care. In addition, they provide topical ointments, vitamins and nutritional supplements as well as supplies for dental and ophthalmic care.
According to the star actress  ‘the efforts we realized in getting help to people that need them  is a substantial relief to my heart because I am favored to be able to bring these resources’.
Juliet is looking to develop her foundation to become one which is respected on a global stage and could approach multi-national organizations for partnership to achieve its goals.
