Does It Bother You When Your Favorite Celeb Gains EXCESSIVE Weight?

blank
Yesterday, Chris-Vincent posted some photos of Ghanaian Actress Khereema Aguiar in Milan, Italy (Click Here To See Them) and she appeared to have gained double chin. Khereema has always been thick but she was once in shape, she had a body that complemented her face.
Several people have been dazzled by her transformation and the lack of attention she has been paying to her looks. Some critics have gone as far as saying that they demand of her to shed her weight because she is a public figure and it is her responsibility to present and maintain herself as they have known her in the past.
This issue got me thinking last night about many of our Ghanaian celebrities (both men and women).  I don’t know if I’m the only one, but sometimes, you see someone you admire, and you love their look but somehow at some point in their career they start getting bigger and bigger. At this stage, you begin to wonder what happened to them.
For example there was a time that beautiful Jackie Appiah got really big and as a fan I was like “here we go”. It’s like you get disappointed because you feel they are distorting the perfect image you have of them.
I understand that people have different body types; we are all different but can we as fans demand of our Ghanaian celebs to lose some weight when they go over board?
Does it bother you when your favorite celeb gains weight? Which Ghanaian celebrity(s) would you demand to lose if you had the power to do so?

  1. I’ll say very much so. For me these local champs, it is really hard to see them as celebs, since they pretty much don’t do anything about their body. I think Nadia is the most who dose have great body, though her weight sometime have the yoyo effect to it!

A bit of cardio, abs training will do for them but as for this balloon she defiantly needs to hit the gym

  2. I believe e show business is all about branding jst like any other product on e market n so if u get more market while u av a certain shape or figure it is only wise to work hard to maintain it by visiting e gym n also watching ur diet. Ur fans will keep following u if they feel u take proper care of ur physical appearance n not only ur talent. We always see celebrities out there who work very hard to be in shape even after birth for e women. Moreover most people turn to look older than their age when they become big so it’s just for their own gud to package themselves well. I would love to see Yvonne okoro loose some weight,,,,
