Nadia Buari was the welcomed guest in the Yellow House to visit the Girls over the weekend. Looking so fashion conscious, there was no way anyone who watched the show could miss how perfectly she matched her ear rings with her hair band, and her bangles with her shoes.
When asked about it by jealous looking Frost, she said, “My mum arranges my outfit. As a manager she makes sure everything is spot on.’
Nadia Buari who started her career some six years ago said; her mum knows when to play mum and when to act as her manager. With a bashful laugh she rebuffed that her mum manages her for free, “she is so business oriented she won’t do that for free. The beauty of the relationship is she knows what cut to take”.
The sassy actress who is so family oriented has four other siblings; two brothers and two sisters. She talked of her mum and sisters who basically critique her smiles to her kisses in movies. She especially talked about her mum not mostly impressed and pushing her to work hard to bring her characters to life.
When given champagne for a toast, Nadia dug down to be her very self by looking into the camera and questioned why we always are “toasting to good things but drinking alcohol to that”. This drew lots of laughter in the Girls house.
She definitely had her groove on the show revealing that she is guilty of being shopaholic and that she buys her shoes herself.
What is her craze with Beyoncé? “Hahaha, that goes beyond what most people expect because I am attracted to her work sense and drives of pushing her dreams. I buy into that not that I just want to be a Beyoncé wannabe, far from that,” she stated unequivocally.
The inner beauty of Nadia was clearly there to see as she answered her questions from the Girls. She spoke of her first kiss being grabby and was very amused at her puppy love reminiscing her early years.
The Girls were also surprised that Nadia also gets crushes on hunks on TV sometimes as she confessed to this. Are they only footballers? Nope! She said, like every other lady when she sees nice looking guys her heart misses a beat whether they are reading news, doing sports, acting or whatever.
Nadia Buari was in a dilemma what to say when asked about heartbreaks. A lot of viewers were expectant she would openly talk about her alleged relationship with Micheal Essien but that never came up. Her response was short, “I have experienced it before and all I would say is, it taught me to know better.”
The Buari family were on the verge of unveiling a Family reality TV show which couldn’t materialize because at the penultimate time, they were all doing different things and their paths never crossed so they couldn’t settle to get the show recorded but everything else was on course and will be a reality someday. One of her brothers is a rapper who has just released an album and her sister is also in a girl group doing her thing.
Will Nadia Buari ever go into movie production? “I am taking my time to make a good impression when I decide to go into film production because I want whatever movies I come out with to be a keeper of a movie. I know better and I must make sure quality becomes the benchmark,” she declared.
Although she can’t remember the movies she has done with Nigerians, she offered that working with them is fun because they are so determined and always on the edge of getting things done. The Scandal star sporting a blonde wig said, she doesn’t mind shaving her hair for a role if it is worth it and will tell the story.
It was emotional for her talking about the late Godwin Kotei and her for him as a young lecturer at Legon who she described as very much in tune with his young students and what they need to know.
The shy actress said she was trying hard to connect to her fans off the screen and having challenges with being tagged as a show off which she is not. She said fans should feel free to approach her because she is human and here to serve her fans.
Her difficult role she said was when she had to act as a blind person. Being a perfectionist at her roles, she added that she is yet to get into a challenging role to get really challenged since she started acting.
Nadia is involved in a lot of charity work although she rather this is keep quite because she feels she makes a lot from her talent thus thinks it appropriate to let her wealth go around. She said she doesn’t do anything apart from acting for now although there are other plans yet to be hatched. She didn’t want to talk about coming out with a clothing line or anything like that but she said she really wants to exhaust the film industry.
She talked about her great friendship with former Big Brother All Stars housemate, Confidence Haugen, whom she described as a wonderful person to be around. That notwithstanding, she mentioned her mum as being her best friend with whom she discusses every subject; the men, the stress, investments, s*x, gossips and everything!
Nadia Buari is not looking for a perfect gentleman to settle with because she refuses anything like perfect man. “There is no such thing but you can make him perfect to suit you. He should take good care of me as well as honour, compliment and complete me”. If she finds him she wants to bore him five children.
Ghana’s Keitta in the ongoing Big Brother Stargame’s boxers is getting the headlines.
Issues concerning his ‘famous’ boxers are buzzing on social media.
There’s hairy business, then there’s smelly business.
While some of us have been preoccupied with all the Nominations and Evictions drama – which has made us sick with suspense and anticipation – a few vigilant StarGame faithful have been gripped by something else entirely.
From the looks of what is being said on the social networks, Keitta’s boxers are so famous right now, they deserve their own show. A show they might not get, but a post they definitely will!
The vigilant Underwear Police aka U.P. have been working overtime; pouncing on and zooming in on Keitta’s underwear transgressions. Hey, we were taught not to really look down there so it was more than surprising (and a bit embarrassing) to stumble upon unabashed underwear talk. Preacher at a Porn Convention? Yikes, that’s us! It looks like the StarGame masses have skills that would leave the FBI proud.
The internet is abuzz with comments like these:
*“Does Keitta ever change his boxers?” – Dapo Aderele
*“Since I started watching BBA, he is always in these boxers” – Tricia Love Ibe
Some StarGame viewers have jumped to Keitta’s defense as Boxergate unfolds, telling the U.P. where to get off!
*“I know BBA to be an entertainment show…not a fashion show’ – jonwills201
*“Leave Keitta alone. What if that’s his trade mark?” – Celestina Adusahpoku
What we know for sure is that s*xy Keitta is a bonafide Adonis and has never been a slouch about showing off his ripped torso. He has made us cry into our ice cream because he is spoken for (Mildred is his smile keeper). Should we care how and when he chooses to wear his undies? It’s his choice after all!
Could Keitta’s boxers be more famous (or should we say infamous) than the diminutive Lady May’s pink heels, or gorgeous Goldie’s ginormous, gravity defying lashes? Whatever the case may be, one thing’s for sure; never in Big Brother history has underwear kicked up such a stink (pun totally unintended) No. Seriously.

Is the preference of huge backsides in women so prevalent among Ghanaian men that women simply have succumbed to every form of bum enhancements including deception, yes deception to catch their dream men?
The most recent body-enhancing craze among women in Ghana seems to be Bum and Hip Pads. You heard me right!
This started as something more common abroad but apparently a lot of women in Ghana now own either a bum pad or a hip pad which they quickly slip on before wearing their clothes on a night out.
Even women with average curves still wear these pads. They also include another product called ‘Body Magic’ which smoothens out body fat and folds to make them look svelte and s*xy within their clothes.
So my dear young men who are desperately looking for women with huge bums, hips and skinny waists, next time you see a woman with incredible (too good to be true) curves, she just may be a cross between Body Magic and Bum or Hip Enhancers. Don’t buy it too quickly.
The question however is, can we really blame these desperate women or should we put the blame on the men who want unrealistic curves in their dream woman?
This story of ‘father abandoning child or not taking care of child’ brings back into mind the Michael Essien and Dad issue. I hope that one has been finally settled…
Even if I were Mario, I would have found it difficult to accept the explanation the Barwuah family is giving no matter how convincing it sounds.
I would prefer to die with my own family than to be given out to another family…Why did they even have a child in the first place if they did not have the means to take care of the child?
Anyway, after reading the below piece, I would love to hear what you think….If you were Mario, who would you love more? The family who took you in even though you were under death alert or the one which was so scared to the extent that they gave you away? I hope you choose the former!
Inside Thomas and Rose Barwuah’s third-floor council flat above a row of shops in Bagnolo Mella, on the outskirts of Brescia in northern Italy, photographs of their family adorn the walls.
There are pictures of their four children — Abigail, 22, Mario, 19, Enoch, 17, and Angel, 11. But it is Mario who takes centre stage. There are photos of him as a baby and then a toddler growing up in the Sicilian city of Palermo, kicking a football, in a suit at a family party and play-fighting with brother Enoch as Rose looks on.
But Mario is no longer a Barwuah. He has taken the surname of his adopted family, Balotelli. The toddler has grown up into an Inter Milan striker and Champions League winner valued at around £29million.
The player they call ‘Super Mario’ claims his natural parents abandoned him when he was two years old. The grainy images in the Barwuahs’ humble flat in Bagnolo Mella, a sleepy town of terracotta buildings, haphazard cobbled streets and a population of just 13,000, are therefore the only connection they have with their eldest son.
Mr Barwuah picks up a picture of a three-year-old Mario holding a football. It was taken at a friend’s home in Vicenza, a 90-minute drive from Bagnolo Mella.
‘Mario had spent hours playing football in the rain,’ said Mr Barwuah. ‘When the boys came in they were soaked but they were laughing and joking despite being wet. My friend said to Mario, “You really are Super Mario”. It’s the name we gave him.’ (more…)

I’m not surprised that a father has bonked her daughter and given birth with her since we constantly read it in the news but having 5 children with her is grievous and satanic.
As reported by Daily Graphic, the man pleaded guilty to the charge of incest and as usual he came back to plea not guilty when he appeared in court.
Im not being judgemental but then I’m wondering why such a man is still alive. So how will the children call him? Father or grandpa? And call their mum, their step mum? Oh why?
Read the story below:
A 47-year-old farmer who fathered five children with his biological daughter is in the grip of the law.
Yao Hatekah impregnated his daughter, known as Baby, when she was 11 years old and subsequently had children aged 14, 12, 3, 2 and a month-and-a-half-old with her.
Hatekah, who pleaded guilty to the charge of incest on June 20, 2012, changed his plea to not guilty when he reappeared before the Sogakope Circuit Court Wednesday.
According to him, he had one child with his daughter and was not responsible for her other children.
The court, subsequently, remanded him to reappear on July 12, 2012.
Prosecuting, Inspector Emmanuel Atsor of the Sogakope Police told the court that Hatekah began having an affair with his daughter after his wife died.
His alleged incestuous act was brought to the attention of the police by the Chief of Gonu Ashiagborkorpe, near Dabala in the South Tongu District in the Volta Region, TorgbeSekpetey II.
It said the residents of the community had known of Hatekah’s incestuous act all these years but were afraid of him because of his threat to kill anybody who dared to criticise him.
