What is this strong attraction that female celebrities have towards footballers? There are many footballer and actress/singer/model hook-ups including Essien and Nadia, Muntari and Menaye, and several rumoured ones such as Eazzy and Dédé, Nadia Buari and Dédé Ayew, Ama K and Kwadwo Asamoah, and more recently Yvonne Okoro and Adebayor.
There are also plenty of imagined ones, e.g. Delay and her “relationship” with Hans Sarpei. This trend is also replicated in the UK, with Posh and Becks being the most obvious example.
The question is, what is the attraction with having a footballer as a hubby? Is it really about the money, after all successful businessmen, record label owners and movie directors can command roughly similar amounts. And don’t forget the fact that most footballers and sportsmen in general cannot handle money and go broke within a few years of retirement.
Is it because of their well-oiled physiques? Because the pot bellies will definitely come when they stop playing the game …
In the vast majority of these relationships, it is not their faces that is the attraction LOL… so I’m really at a loss to explain it.
In the UK, one reads stories every week about this footballer sleeping with x amount of glamour models (Essien, Muntari and Kevin Prince-Boateng are guilty), another sleeping with their teammates wife, another sleeping with their BROTHER’S wife…
So is it worth the possible heartache and humiliation for perhaps some extra $$ and prestige? Why do these women, and in fact most women throw themselves at footballers? The answer better be PURE LOVE or else….

Three words money, status, and athleticism they’re rich they feel like they can do what they want I always compare footballers with scarface and rappers it’s all about money power and respect this is something that has always been going on it just that now it makes the headlines faster due to twitter and internet phone apps now days most girls are just gold diggers and are doing it for the money status just to show off I used to date this girl in the beginning she was all cool until I visited her one day and saw her clothing/bags collection from burberry, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Christian louboutini etc and told her she got taste and how she started bragging how she used to date one of the Ghanaian football players and what he used to do for her and buy for her and that whoever wanted to date her needs to be able to maintain her like that footballer did I started laughing until I left and once I was gone only thing I could think about it ctrl- alt delete her number
But on the other hand you got some positive footballers who are true to their wife as well take Fernando Torres for example he married his childhood sweetheart and he really seems like a nice guy they met when they were like really little kids or something so she’s deffinitely not a gold digger and if i can remember David Villa married someone he knew when he was younger too its nice to see football players marry low key, pretty women who are genuine and down to earth i have a bit more respect for them than footballer players who marry famous supermodels or any celeb

Thing is it is almost never true luv.I see it more as a business relationship. The footballer gets a very attractive lady whom he wouldn’t have got had he not been famous and rolling in the money.Which will also help to enhance his image reputation whiles the lady gets someone to foot all the bills she cannot afford to pay on her own.The designer bags, clothes and other accessories don’t come cheap not even forgetting the traveling around the world. Its a win win situation for both parties.

SOME CELEBRITIES TOO GO FOR DRUG DEALERS AND WHEN THEY ARE BROKE THEY FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE BY THEIR SIDES AND TAKE OFF THEIR RINGS .

Yes-oh, it is very sad, completely based on materialism and ****ociation, maybe love grows afterwards, but the initial attraction is usually financial, not physical or spiritual.

it’s not the money nor love. it’s fame. they just won’t to be extra famous .
