With the mindset to award stars when they are alive and not when they die, Emklan Entertainment owned by Daniel Quophi Amoateng also known as Okyeame Quophi and a former member of the rap duo, Akyeame with the help of his wife Stacy Amoateng of TV3’s Music Music fame instituted an event to celebrate the nation’s celebrities.
‘Showbiz Honours’ as it’s called had Nadia Buari as the first celebrant. In a very colourful event in Accra, she was celebrated in the presence of her family members, friends and industry professionals.

This year, the College of the Honours which is also the Selection Committee and made up of showbiz analyst, critics and stakeholders after several works and deep investigations found former Black Stars former El Capitano Stephen Leroy Appiah as the perfect showbiz personality to be honoured.
