Yesterday (23rd August, 2012), Empire Entertainment in association with MediaGH launched ‘Back in the Day’ concert to bring all the real Hip Life soldiers  of yester-years on one stage to entertain patrons with hits they churned out years back.

At the launch were hit makers such as the originator of Hip Life, Reggie Rockstone, Ex-Doe of ‘Comfort’ and ‘Maba’ fame, Chicago of ‘Wobeko’ fame, VIP, Batman (now Samini), TH4 Kwages, Buk Bak, T-Blaze of ‘Wo sisi ye wo ya’ fame, Akatakyie of ‘Odo sisi me’ fame, Tic Tac of ‘Philomena’ fame, Akyeame duo of Okyeame Kwame and Okyeame Quophi of ‘Mesan Aba’ fame, Obrafour, Hammer of the last two among others.
