Leading local mobile phone and quality IT and electronics maker, rlg Communications, is set to give out 1000 high end mobile phones to music fans at the Back In the Day Concert set for the 21st September,2012.
RLG is also lead sponsor of the first edition of the retro-hiplife concert which has fast become the most anticipated event of the rave calendar this September.
According to Empire Entertainment’s PR Manager, Derick Addai, the move is part of RLG’s support of the groundbreaking concert and is also a mark of their contribution to the development of the entertainment industry in Ghana.
The Back In the Day Concert is set to feature 17 of the biggest acts of hiplife’s early days and has over the last couple of weeks woken nostalgic feelings amongst music lovers who experienced what is described by most as the “Golden Era” of hiplife music characterized by great artistry and exciting performances.
Hiplife’s legends set to rock the Dome of the Accra International Conference centre this Friday night include, BukBak, NFL, Ded Buddy,Sonni Achiba, TH4kwages, Keteke, Omanhene Po zo, Deeba, Kontihene,Obrafuor, Lord Kenya, Akatakyie,T-Blaze, Ex-Doe, Chicago, Abrewa Nana and many others.
Tickets for the show are selling hot for GHC50 regular and GHC100 VIP at Koala-Osu, Frankies-Osu, RLG Store-Osu,JOY FM[frontdesk],Empire Entertainment[frontdesk], Jane-Ann Supermarket, Airport Shell, Baatsona Total and Community 11 Shell.
The BACK IN THE DAY Concert is organized by Empire Entertainment and Media GH; and powered by RLG with support from Euro Star, Kalahari Bitters, and Digital Innovation.
