    • @Dr. Miyagi,You are too cruel, although i must admit you have a point there. These girls need  serious make-overs. The problem with these pageants is that sooner or later with contestants like these it will be extremely difficult for anyone to take the Miss Ghana Pageant serious. Obviously the selection process is seriously flawed. Skin and hair…let me say this again it all comes down to skin and hair. If your skin is jacked up you will put too much make-up on which will eventually make you look like a Kabuki doll or an ugly  japanese  geisha

      • Thanks for your feedback buddy, but Lol @ kabuki or japanese geisha , well I do agree it was a bit harsh as well but I rather be honest than to beat around the bush some of these girl just don’t belong their@william,

Abena-  Oh abena, why is she in a pageant. with those chinese eyes and that forehead. love you should have stayed home!
Afriyie- not much about her, plus i dont like her eyebrows.
Aisha-  I’m sorry i cannot deal with her forehead too. Gosh she looks like she’s a special needs person.
Emelia- Now i think it gets better, she seems like a real cutie
Foriwaa- there’s just nothing speacial about her.
Georgette- i just dont like her teeth thats all
Gifty- she has lazy eyes, and really bad skin. and she is just general ugly.
Jennifer- Lord have mercy. dont think she owns a mirror!
    Joan- just looks bush……..ahhh
Josephine- How did she make it this far……..maybe she slept her way there (just saying)
    Naa- her skin is bad
Nadia- another one of those foreheads again……… and also those eyes are cray
    Ohemaa- another disabled looking one……gosh
precious- tbh i just dont like her face

    sabina-  LOL….. just LOL
Stephanie- all i’m going to say is you wouldnt want to be bitten by her…… i mean wow. how many teeth can one fit in their mouth……..

sorry to sound so critica, but i suppose these girls asked for it. they entered a beauty pageant.  who does that these days and also nobody cares anymore. Back in the 90’s we took miss ghana and miss world seriously not anymore!!!!

    • @dove, hahahahahahahaha, you got me laughing. I really like what you said; “nobody [really] cares anymore”. The pageant has been left in the hands of shady people. I honestly don’t understand Inna and her crew! Inna the organizer, (born in lagos) might be a Ghanaian citizen but the chic can’t really give a satisfied answer if you ask her about her nationality. Roseline (half Nigerian) may also not be able to answer that question straight-forward either even if she has a Ghanaian citizenship. These chics are Pseudo-Ghanaians!

In my opinion, the pageants are fast loosing their credibility because they are NOT measuring what they think they are measuring! Thus, they are not looking for a befitting beauty queen like they ‘believe’ they are doing. Nowadays they are crowning the “Most Favorite” (thus, to whom you know) and “Miss Popular” (thus depending on facebook voting and phone voting). In almost all countries except corrupt Ghana and probably most parts of Africa, you can ONLY rank them in a poll. Oh Ghana!

      • @Derby,

Hey derby,  i know i sound very harsh here. I don’t really care that i am. these women have entered a beauty pageant therefore I have every right to comment on their beauty or the lack of it, because essentially they’ve asked for it.

And honey i’ve got good genes 😛

  7. Abena is very beautiful in my opinion, she has the face of a queen but is she also intellegent?i guess thats the question and i think its time to stop limiting this sort of pageant to just a beautiful face, they are all ok and may the most intellegent win but please not a name like roseline Ngozi okoro, that does not sound Ghanaian and this is Miss Ghana for christ sake.

    • @maame ama, really? you and who are the “we”? You and the organizers huh…?
It doesn’t take any special kind of thinking to know that the Miss Ghana pageant competition has already been rigged. The moment I saw the final 20 girls, I asked myself, “are they sure these are the most qualified”? Well, the question sounds a little annoying but the answer might be an interesting NO especially with this your comment! Will I be far from right to say that, they already know who they want to win thereby keeping several beautiful and intelligent girls out of the competition? Only the gods of Igbo land can explain why some of the girls have ginger faces. [Yep, w)n anim keka!]. The competition has not been aired on national TV, yet the likes of you knows the winner already! One may ask; how is that possible? Well, you need not ask what a cheap fame in Ghana can do for a person! Again when you have friends of her sister among the judges, it will take Saint Peter of Heaven to convince any sensible person that their friendship won’t influence the results. I dare say it probably influenced the auditions! Favoritism comes in many flavors in my dear country, pick one and throw it at this event.

Commander FORIWAA and captain OHEMAA, I throw up my salute. Okoro, go and stand in between Togo and Benin and stretch your right hand to Ghana and stretch the left to Nigeria and salute both countries with your mouth. Come rain or sunshine, my girls ride for Ghana only.

  9. i thnk its abt time we start behaving maturely.some of these ladies are very beautiful in person, for example i know joana on legon campus and i can bet you she is very pretty but it quiet unfortunate the picture depict something different.i don’t know what is wrong though but i can bet you she is very pretty and intelligent as well.let us rather point their mistakes to them to correct instead of these humiliating comments if truly we are civilised.Joana work on your hair and makeup.

  11. Afriyie, Roseline and Jennifer, any of these three can win, but that’s my order. And we better stop this nansins about Roseline not being Ghanaian. What makes Rawlings more Ghanaian than she is?

    Reply
    • @bazzwella, You support lowest of the low who do not know that she is a looser and will continue to lose. Afriyie is so thirsty for a doggone crown on her oval-shaped head so she is desperately competing in every damn beauty pageant! What is wrong with that chick? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbcgNhLw0KM.

These people you compare her to have accepted only one nationality. Rawlings grew up with one and only one national identity and that’s what he is used to and loyal to and so is Obama. I was right there on twitter when Yvonne tweeted this; “Happi Bday My Nigeria,52yrs .its our INDEPENDENCE” on 1st October.” I will bet on my last dollar that Obama or Rawlings (that you compare her to) can but will never say this in their bedrooms let alone on social websites. I want to imagine the reaction of Americans or Ghanaians should Obama or Rawlings repeat what she wrote and replace the country with Kenya and Scotland respectively. The use of MY and OUR made me clapped my hands for her for finally accepting that there is a question mark on their damn foreheads as Ghanaians. A person having the loyalty of another country is unfit to wear our national crown or represent our mother internationally. The Okoros love being Nigerians, that’s who they are. They are only fooling stupid Ghanaians who have no intelligence in their ears. Ghanaians wake up!!! Does Yvonne have a Nigerian passport? If she didn’t need a Nigerian passport to claim her citizenship (by accepting the lifting of flag award), then what makes the smart ones think that her sister needs a passport to be recognized as a Nigerian? I wish to see the damn list of Nigerian citizens! What Ghanaian culture is she familiar with apart from the Twi that even ants in Ghana know how to speak?

Yvonne was on Twitter claiming that Rawlings is not called Jerry Kofi Antwi. I think she has the IQ of a rotten egg. Must every Ghanaian have an Ashanti name? J.J has an ewe name. Does Yvonne or her sister have one? Hecka hella no; so far as I know of. What is so Ghanaian about Okoro when her father wakes up in the morning and stares at her face with a Nigerian nationality? What is so Ghanaian about Okoro when her talented blood sister receives “an award for lifting the Nigerian flag so high”? On what topic of the genetic, constitutional and psychological make-up (entitling her to two nationalities) of Okoro do people need light on? The point is already conceded and the truth lies with her father and her sister’s ramblings (SHE SAID SHE IS AN AFRICAN).
