OPENED GOSSIP: The Recycling Of Ghanaian Celebrities Continue…Who Is Chopping Down Who & Back Passing To Who?

blank
If you were beaten by the torrential rain of surprise that came along with our recent publication which mentioned that,  Vicky Zugah’s  ex boyfriend is Nana Ama McBrown’s current boyfriend who is also rumoured to have passed through Mzbel’s project, then GhanaCelebrities.Com is sure you will be kicked by a hurricane after reading this piece…
We at GhanaCelebrities.Com call it recycling of celebrities…
Definition: This is when celebrities within a particular Entertainment industry recycle the women or men among themselves.
This is well understood and practiced in western Entertainment industries where a single female celebrity would date almost all the industry men (not even sparing some of the women and the married men). The vice versa holds for the opposite sex…
An example is Ciara who dated or recycled Bow Wow (then lil Bow Wow), moved unto 50 Cent, Ludacris and then Amar’e Stoudemire…
Out there in the west, the men are the best recyclers…They jump through the projects of many of the industry celebrities. For instance, Chris Brown is rumoured to have dated Kelly Rowland, Lil Mama,  Keshie Chante,  Teyana Taylor, Rihanna and several other industry women (good for him right?).
Back To Ghana…
As our celebrity culture develops, our Ghanaian celebrities seem to be quickly following the recycling of industry players concept. Do not forget that, this practice causes a lot of tension, sabotage, ‘milking’, gossiping and enmity between those playing the game…
Did you know that Amanda Jisseh of GhOne Tv and formerly of Hitz FM was dating Bright of Buk Bak fame?
Though it is being said that, Bright has sadly and uniformly kicked her out  of his way, Amanda was bold enough to mention on Peace Fm today that, she so much loves Bright (I am sure she is hoping for a come back)…
From how issues were discussed and developed, this same Amanda is said to have also dated Praye Tenten of Praye fame for 1 and half years (that is what Praye himself said)…So if you are counting the Ghanaian female recyclers, you can add Amanda to your list.
And Amanda mentioned on radio today that, Praye Tenten is on DRUGS! Really?
As they say, someone’s current  is always someone’s ex, GhanaCelebrities.Com is aware of a long chain of recycling currently going on where a certain host of a TV show in Ghana who is also an ex girlfriend of a top Ghanaian footballer (who used to play in England) is recycling several industry men.

Ghanaian Musicians Likely To Go On Strike…

Tic Tac
Tic Tac

The Musician Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has issued a stern warning to those with ears and willing to hear that soon, the Union would embark on a strike to register its displeasure against television and radio stations operating in the country.

The intended strike according to the Chairman of the Greater Accra regional branch of the Union, Tic Tac, is obliged to prevent television and radio stations from using their works if they (musicians) cannot be paid their worth when their intellectual property is used.

They said even though radio and television stations use their songs to make money on their platforms, what is given to the musicians is too bad and nothing to write home about.

For instance, these stations always adjust their promotion or advertising cards regularly yet the insufficient returns they give to musicians have always been the same and very little.

These stations enrich themselves with monies acquired as the result of using their songs on radio and on tv at the expense of the musicians who own the intellectual property of the songs.

Due to high cost of music production in Ghana, most musicians are living in abject poverty. Some are known to have died as paupers.
