If you were beaten by the torrential rain of surprise that came along with our recent publication which mentioned that, Vicky Zugah’s ex boyfriend is Nana Ama McBrown’s current boyfriend who is also rumoured to have passed through Mzbel’s project, then GhanaCelebrities.Com is sure you will be kicked by a hurricane after reading this piece…
We at GhanaCelebrities.Com call it recycling of celebrities…
Definition: This is when celebrities within a particular Entertainment industry recycle the women or men among themselves.
This is well understood and practiced in western Entertainment industries where a single female celebrity would date almost all the industry men (not even sparing some of the women and the married men). The vice versa holds for the opposite s*x…
An example is Ciara who dated or recycled Bow Wow (then lil Bow Wow), moved unto 50 Cent, Ludacris and then Amar’e Stoudemire…
Out there in the west, the men are the best recyclers…They jump through the projects of many of the industry celebrities. For instance, Chris Brown is rumoured to have dated Kelly Rowland, Lil Mama, Keshie Chante, Teyana Taylor, Rihanna and several other industry women (good for him right?).
Back To Ghana…
As our celebrity culture develops, our Ghanaian celebrities seem to be quickly following the recycling of industry players concept. Do not forget that, this practice causes a lot of tension, sabotage, ‘milking’, gossiping and enmity between those playing the game…
Did you know that Amanda Jisseh of GhOne Tv and formerly of Hitz FM was dating Bright of Buk Bak fame?
Though it is being said that, Bright has sadly and uniformly kicked her out of his way, Amanda was bold enough to mention on Peace Fm today that, she so much loves Bright (I am sure she is hoping for a come back)…
From how issues were discussed and developed, this same Amanda is said to have also dated Praye Tenten of Praye fame for 1 and half years (that is what Praye himself said)…So if you are counting the Ghanaian female recyclers, you can add Amanda to your list.
And Amanda mentioned on radio today that, Praye Tenten is on DRUGS! Really?
As they say, someone’s current is always someone’s ex, GhanaCelebrities.Com is aware of a long chain of recycling currently going on where a certain host of a TV show in Ghana who is also an ex girlfriend of a top Ghanaian footballer (who used to play in England) is recycling several industry men.
It does not just stops there, a certain Ghanaian Actress (I hate to call her an actress because she hardly gets any roles) has already finished recycling 3 industry men and she is on her 4th project…What a blessing for some women!
Also did you know that, Nana Aba Anamoah and Mzbel recycled the same man?
Should I stop there or tell you that, a certain gentleman has also finished recycling two of our top Ghanaian Entertainment/Talk Show presenters on TV and the gentleman is currently ‘gisting’ his third industry victim?.
Do you want to know the lucky bastard top DJ who has recycled 2 former National beauty Queens, 2 Actresses and the owner of a popular night hangout joint in Ghana?
Has the western celebrity lifestyle of recycling (back passing) their men and women among themselves come to stay with us?
If it has, are our celebrities ready to see the media take up on who dated who and who is messing with who’s ex or baby father? If they are not, then why are they sharing bananas and bowls without thinking carefully?
What is the driving force behind these recycled relationships? Is it fame, money or mere desire to date someone you know your fellow celebrity dated?
My friend once said ‘can you imagine the panic that would erupt in such an industry of recyclers if one of the people in the chain of recycling is reported to have some sort of STD?
Personally, I don’t think I can be with someone that I know for sure that another close person was banging…If I do not know, then that is cool! What about you?
What do you think about the recycling of men and women culture rapidly developing in our entertainment industry? Is it healthy?
What happened to the other non industry men and women? Are they not good enough?
I have left out certain names to protect our most reliable sources. However, I have made this clear to the extent that, you will only have to think a little to be able to fetch out those involved in this yourself. This is why it is called Opened Gossip…I give you the clues; you do the thinking and share what you know/have heard or what you have been able to put together yourself. 🙂
