There’s a lot that happens only in Nollywood and I am sure this isn’t the first time that an actor’s name has been spelt wrongly.
In fact I have seen Ghanaian star actress, Jackie Appiah referred to as Jackie Apea and Jackie Appah amongst others in several movies in the past. But as I watched the Nollywood flick, ‘Virginity’ on Vox Africa yesterday, I couldn’t help but wonder how the producers could have been so off with the spelling of Jackie’s name.
The credits read ‘Jaky Appiah’ and even worse, she and the other cast member were listed as ‘crew’. Hmm, only in Nollywood (and by Nollywood, I mean Nigerian and Ghanaian movies).
Hahahahahha lol I like this name better, but this happens in ghana movies as well
