I have tried it all and I think the only option I have left if things do not change is to SHUT this blog down or sell it out to someone and move on with my goddam life….
This year has been extremely difficult in maintaining decency on this blog. I have banned several people, tried comment moderation and have deleted thousands of comments, and yet it seems the tyranny, nonsense, insults and unnecessary attacks are never going to come to an end.
Why can’t people respect the opinions of others? Why can’t matured people contribute and share their views on issues, stories and discussions without being unnecessary hostile to others?
This is never the reason why I started this blog…I established this blog as a place for ‘myself’ and others to share our opinions on Ghana’s Entertainment Industry and its developing Celebrity/Pop Culture.
For the past few months, anytime I read some of the comments on here, the only question I keep asking myself is; where are all these ‘Mean MEN/WOMEN’ coming from?
I know I am very opinionated and have my own stand on things, however, I do not insult any of the commenters on here so why can’t you people do the same to each other- Say what you think and not insult the next person commenting?
It seems certain semi educated and acute mentally constipated people have found their way here and they have the habit of hijacking posts, and insulting other readers/commenters for fun.
What is happening here now is pure nonsense, pervasive, unintelligent and diabolical.
Through this blog, I have met some very intelligent and kind people (readers), we’ve sat down to eat, talk and discuss issues…It is because of such people and things that we continue to write on this blog each day.
Because of the unnecessary insults and attacks on commenters, several intelligent people who have a lot to contribute to this blog via commenting are holding back their opinions…
Why can’t we Ghanaians have discussions and disagreements without having to insult each other? I am stupidly and ‘fuckingly’ PISS…I AM REALLY MAD.

Hi Chris! I can understand your frustration, but you can easilly block any comment that’s unapproprate. You dont have to sell ur blog cos of others stupidity. Right now you as a blogger you are using unapproprate topic to write your article, how do you think people are gonna comment his this topic.?
Sometimes you cant controll people opinion we just have to ignore them and move on, and in ur case you can easilly bloack any comment that unapproprate to others.
Problem with blogs is that it comes with trolls no matter what u do u wld have them.Some do it just to raise emotions and cause havoc and thats what makes them happy.

I know sometimes it annoying to read some comments here ,some commentators go too far by insulting each others *mother* just because they don’t agree ,we have to behave as humans that’s why we are the wisest of the ANIMAL KINGDOM ,even dogs have stop fighting ….
This k kind of insult and attack has stop some good commentators on this site …

I’m so very sorry for what happened. People that know me knows: I would never intentionally do something like that if I knew that it would end up being a hurtful, embarrassing, awkward, etc….. Chris and his GC team have worked so hard and come so far let’s respect their mind and hard work I know I have played a major part in all this and that so my apologies to all the people that I have insulted in the pass etc and let’s make something good out of it from now on I will stop insulting Jackie Appiah, Mzbel and co. hopefully we can comeback here and have fun without insults
Whatever the cause for my bad behavior, it was inexcusable.
Hopefully, this will be one of things we look back to and laugh. Until then, I’m willing to do everything I can to make it up to you

i think the best way to limit/stop all this insult craze is to stop replying those who do insult. those of us who are mature need to ignore the insults and lets just drop our commits like how i’ve been doing. lets not forget some readers are attention seekers who uses this platform to satisfy their craving. also if you don’t have anything important to share just don’t commit.

Chris you are doing a great job with this website and many ppl like me I who live abroad enjoy visiting this website to know what’s happening in Ghana, there will always be haters do not let these ppl discourage.
