Use Your Money To Help Your Niece Out As An Uncle – Readers Reply Kwaw Kese Over Free SHS Tweet

blank

Some unhappy followers of the self acclaimed mad man, Kwaw Kese are not happy with the Hip Life artiste for his tweets about free SHS shortly after the Chairman of the Electoral Commission; Dr Afari-Gyan announced the final results of the 2012 general elections.

Shortly after the EC Boss who doubles as the Returning Officer of the President Elections declared the President John Mahama as the President-elect, Kwaw Kese took to Twitter to tweet to announce his displeasure.

He tweeted that the free education would have helped his sister’s daughter to continue her education, since she sells pure water on the streets at age 16.

Obviously not happy with the fact that, the party that wanted to introduce the free SHS were declared losers on the elections tweeted to announce his displeasure.

He tweeted: ”Free educatioN wud have hElpeD my Sister’s daughter ContinuE her # EduCaTioN, cOs ShE sELL’s puRE watEr oN dA StreeT@16., God bleSs # GHANA”.

Some of the replies to his tweet asked him, what he was doing with his money whiles his niece sell pure water at that young age on the streets.

@kwawkese @Aqweci #EduCaTioN #GHANA so kwaw wht r u doing with ur money then if u can let ur niece sell pure water @16

Another also tweeted advising him to use his money to help his niece out as an uncle.

@kwawkese massa use ur money to help out as an uncle.#Family

The rapper was however backed by some followers but it is very obvious that, the above tweets are coming from people who also voted against the free SHS.

Whether you concur with Kwaw Kese or not don’t forget that, a little education is far better than none at all on any day.

  1. Even though I like the FREE SHS policy, I think people like Kwaw Kesse are a lot in Ghana. Such people expect the Gov’t to do everything for them even if they are in the position to do it themselves. They will even wait for the Gov’t to come and clean the rubbish and dog shit in front of their own houses…

The Ghanaian way of thinking must stop else we will not make any substantive progress. I guess Kwaw Kesse would rather use his money to by weed or chase women, instead of helping the nice to get back to school. He is waiting for the Gov’t to implement FREE SHS…Pathetic!

    • @27cдгibre(Ф_ф),I do understand where your coming from but don’t you think free shs will and can reduce
Those innocent girls that are being pushed by their parents to go into prostitutoin because they can’t afford
Paying for their school fees etc a because I was watching el jazeera and I have to say Nana did make allot of sense
Not because I support him or so but it was the time a d moment to make change here is my previous comment
If NDC- 5,574,761 NPP- 5,248,898 difference between them is 325,863 votes, the total numbers of valid votes cast is 11,246,982 divide NDC’s total votes by the number of total valid votes cast and you get 49.6% so its crystal clear that the election should have to a run off even if you subtract the stolen votes from NDC’s votes than Mahama would have lost brutally the EC is suppose to be an independent org. But just see it for yourself how come both parties had 5 million votes yet still one gets 50.6% and the other party gets 47.80% you do the maths I agree with kwa in a way allot if young
Children are suffering in Ghana but nothing is getting done about it

      • @Dr. Miyagi, Agreed with u a 100%.Ghana is not moving into the right direction because of lack of education.People are so ignorant/naive to the extent that these foreigners dupe them on the little that they have.A good /simple example was the so called halloween celebrated recently, if people knew its history behind it,am sure they wouldn’t have joined the celebration.Lack of education is the theme for the day and am surprised they fail to support its solution. They will rather copy blindly and make mistakes than to learn form the right source.
As for abodam, I think he probably said that for attention and dont really mean it.Am sure he isnt that stupid to watch his young niece go tru hell.

(1)even United kingdom which economy is by far better than Ghana have British prostitutes, the Germans, the Netherlands a prostitute is a prostitute bro no matter what you will do.

(2)SHS is also good but won’t you wish you will have a good job in Ghana for all of street hawkers on street, shoemakers, ice water etc so that the good job will provide them money for everything in life than waiting for free things ??

Let pray for good economy ,good education, good jobs ,not sit down and go to church every Sunday to pray for something free come on bro this the future of Ghana we talking about !!!
Free SHS without paying school fees and noo jobs to give the children food to go to school .
Let stop playing politics with future of Ghana or tribalism.
(3)about vote rigging every opponent will try to defend himself with vote rigging even NDC accuse kufour of rigging as vote even though the humble man won the election soo easy ,even in America Obama was accused of that ,Romney was also accuse of it …so what I will tell you is in every election there will be misunderstanding from opponents.
Et pray for good economy good jobs so that we can pay our own children school fees but not praying for something free which is not easy …

Quality education makes a country strong!!!

        • @27cдгibre(Ф_ф), I get ur point but with the 2nd point u made, u were talking about having a good job in Ghana for all of the street hawkers, etc..Why wont we rather educate these people so they can live a better life esp in todays world when everything involves technology/education.What job can they do with no education, they will still remain slaves .The world is running too fast and if education doesnt become a priority, then there is no point in hoping for the best.A shoemaker will still remain a shoemaker if they ve no education, an ice water seller can never be a secretary if she lacks education. These people will always be limited to jobs if they are not trained.Education conquers it all and comes first sweety.

          • @Adjoa Nbaaso), sis Adoa the people you want educate are the same people who need a job I mean a good job to cater for the children to go to school by paying schools fees not waiting for government to pay fees if you building something you need a strong foundation to build on in every country this most vital things quality good jobs quality education n good economy.
Let see what NDC can do if they fail why not vote for cpp or NPP in the next election.

        • @27cдгibre(Ф_ф),you do no that prostitution is a offence in the United Kingdom right? We all know that here in UK there are more lazy people than any particular raise right. Reason why so many if them are on benefit as for the Netherlands I lived there for years and you should know that it’s legalise to work as a prostitution so you can’t really compare Ghana with both countries NDC has been on the thrown for four years what changes did they make at least name one apart from selling the oil to china and what makes you think they will make a change in the next four years?

          Reply
          • @Dr. Miyagi, come n under what government made prostitution a legal job in Ghana so same as Ghana I did compared it because of the gape between the economies of the two…

About Netherlands n German I compared it cos I want you to know a prostitute is a prostitute in those countries even though there is good education n jobs they choose it as their jobs …

About the NDC achievement the followers will say many and they will say NDC is doing a good job.

Just as you saying NDC did nothing ,some one will say kufour did nun.

Our debate is getting sweeter and my girl friend is complaining am giving her less attention so brb soon I love debating with you and sis Adoa PEACE

          • @27cдгibre(Ф_ф),okay lets say prostitution is not illegal but who owns those who prostitute pimps in the UK and you should know that soliciting pimping and running a brothel is illegal to pick up prostitute here in the UK is a specific criminal offence  and again in the Netherlands and Germany prostitution is legalise let me ask you this if NDC is doing such a good work how come most girls and woman who travel from Ghana to the Netherlands and Germany as well as Belgium end up working in the prostitution sector? I will tell you because of lack of education why because once they are here it’s either their are afraid to go to school, or trying to find the easy way to make quick money and go and live large back home remember hard work pays off lets say in the future you have children’s and one of your daughters really wants to go to school but you can’t afford it why because you messed up your life and was out if job you retire back to Ghana and was staying their but couldn’t fund for your daughters education etc and she decided to go into prostitution because her friends are doing the same and told her that’s the only way out and you didn’t not know she was doing that and one day you end up picking up a prostitution just to fer fill you needs and you end up saying your daughter standing doing the same thing what would go through your mind, cause like I said what did NDC do in the first four years they where in charge nothing ooh nothing apart from selling oil making other foreigners come and seized our gold and get richer by the way what happens to the billions of pounds that china gave Ghana when the late mills was in charge, these are the question you need to ask yourself also all those road accident that has been happening for the past decades what have they done about it

        • @27cдгibre(Ф_ф), see, linking education to good job and better way of living is a cyclical one. when someone is educated he/she has the ability to polish what he is doing, he/she is able to create and so finds himself in employment by his own thinking. example take the carpenter who is educated, he is able to improve upon what he does and creates demand for his product, demand means more hands to help and more hands means employment. also take the typical seamstress/ tailor, those who are educated improved on their lots and they called themselves fashion designers- now you see African print everywhere and we are proud about it.
Free things does not neccessiary mean its cheap, we have oil, gas, cocoa, gold etc. we can all have a fair share of this wealth.
listen i had a scholarship during my secondary school and now i have my MBA and i can put up arguments like this. i have identify opportunites in the country and working towards creating my own business, look at the effect of a lot more pple having education- it will reduce mortality rate among women, school drop out, reduce hoologanism etc. i rest my case here.

      • @Dr. Miyagi, 11,246,982 represents total vote cast and not total VALID vote cast. 11,246,982 minus rejected of 251,720 = 10,995,262 which is toal valid vote cast.
The NDC’s number represent 50.70% of the total valid votes. Instead of laying the blame on the doorsetp of the EC and NDC, rather blame the polling station agents of the NPP for having neglected their jobs. As to whether they were enticed/bribed, no one can tell.

          • @Dr. Miyagi, The ndc has done a lot including, school feeding program, single spine, building more schools and hospitals, not to talk of roads now traffic in Accra totally reduced!! The ndc has kept peace in our country…All the regions in Ghana has got their own share of the better Ghana agenda that’s why the NDC holds 8 good regions out of the 10 regions we have in Ghana.

          • @mynameismyname, who told you the ndc initiated the school feeding program, check your facts right, that was one of the npp’s legacy they left with the Ghanaian people during the era of Kuffour’s administration. People of NDC have nothing good under their sleeves.

    • @27cдгibre(Ф_ф),…Weren´t there 16 year olds on the streets selling ice water during k4´s time??im smfh….Nana Akuffo Addo was only encouraging lazy irresponsible men to go abt impregnating women, and  not take care of  their kids…lol….From kindergaten to shs free…is he serious???…Don´t go about having too many kids,if u can´t  take them through school…mtcheew

        • @Adjoa Nbaaso),i get your point, but  what then happens to those who goes to vocational schools?? Now, who pays 4 them?? People learning some kinda trade…who supports them?? Going to school doesn´t guarante your getting a suitable job or becoming somebody in future…PLUS,school is not for every1….A friend of mindedid home econs@sss,then went to  vocational school after shs…Couldnt she have done vocational school right after shs?? I believe JHS should be free, but shs a CHOICE
