Over the weekend in Nigeria, a so called fashionista Yvonne Nwosu wore this black thigh-high, long sleeved dress to an event and some people are madly loving it…
For me, I find it NO NO…I think the craziness in fashion is slipping off hand.
I just want to find out if I am the one with issues or Yvonne Nwosu as well as some of the many Africans who call themselves designers and fashionista need to re-think about their fashion style…
What will you call this, celebrity fashion or celebrity madness? Would you ever wear this?

COME TO THINK OF THE NAME ” YVONNE ” IN OUR AFRICAN SHOWBIZ, LOOKS LIKE THE NAME HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH FASHION SOMETHING, CUS IF YOU CAST YOUR MIND AT ALL THE YVONNES IN THE INDUSTRY ITS EITHER THEY FUNCTION OR MULFUNCTION IN FASHION.

Well is the slit not the same height as Angelina Jolie wore to the 2012 Oscars this year (or the many she has rocked to different events) or what Jennifer Aniston wore to the Golden Globes awards some time back or what Bey wore to 2012 BET awards? I”ll bet half of ya all thought it was nice on these celebrities. Hypocritical! Or does the thigh high slit not look good on African thighs? Is the writer trying to say it is crazy for her to rock a slit that high? I say she got the legs and thighs for it and she looks great! Someone else may not rock the look but she rocked it. Moi i wouldn’t dare because i do not have the thighs,height nor legs to pull it off!
I would wear this if the slit was some more inches down, I think it would have been classy if e slit was not so high up. Is too revealing. Being fashionable is not about exposing it all. What Jennifer and Angelina wore were this high up as far as the slit is concerned.

Fashion is about choice. If a person believes she has the body to rock something,then so be it. I know some people wear stuff that are not meant for their bodies too, but again that is their choice. I wouldn’t wear the dress, but I love it on her. She has the legs, height, and the body for it, so she went for it. Remember the dress is not tacky at all, it is beautiful with an extreme slit, that’s it!
