GhanaCelebrities.Com has been informed that, Nollywood actress-Nkiru Sylvanus and former Mr Nigeria,-Kenneth Okolie who were kidnapped on Saturday in Owerri have been released by their captors.
After they were kidnapped, reports emerged that the kidnappers demanded N100 million ransom for Nkiru’s release. It is unknown if the ransom was paid to secure their release.
As to how they were released, reports say that the kidnappers blindfolded them and dropped them off at an unknown location where they were able to call friends to come pick them up. It is however uncertain if any ransom was paid.
Thanks to all those who remembered them in their prayers and we are happy they have been reunited with their families and friends. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
