POLITRICKS OF THE DAY: Akufo-Addo Should Have Conceded Defeat – Sekou Nkrumah

Sekou And Akuffo AddoDr. Sekou Nkrumah, son of Ghana’s First President, says Nana Akufo Addo should have conceded defeat before challenging the results of the December 7 elections.

The NPP has petitioned the Supreme Court, accusing the Electoral Commission of rigging the elections in favour of President Mahama.

Dr. Nkrumah who fell out with the ruling NDC before the elections said although the NPP has the right to seek legal redress, its handling of the matter will affect its future electoral fortunes.

Speaking on Radio XYZ’s Current Affairs Program, the Analyst, Dr. Nkrumah said the NPP politically made some mistakes which led to their defeat.

“I think politically they made some mistakes and it is too late to correct them but personally I would have thought that Nana Akufo-Addo would have conceded defeat and still congratulate John Mahama and still go to court.

“It would be to prove a point…NPP has to be very careful not to lose sympathy because it could affect them going into 2016” Dr. Nkrumah said.

But a leading member of the National Reform Party Dr. David Percy says the NPP has no case.

Speaking on the same platform Dr Percy wondered how the party will challenge only the Presidential and not the parliamentary results

  1. POLITICS IS À DIRTY GAME. OUR AFRICAN LEADERS TAKE PART IN POLITICS FOR THIER STOMACH AND CLOSE RELATIONS. EVERYBODY IS POWER-THIRSTY INORDER TO ALSO GET THIER SHARE. ALL THEY DO IS TO OPEN SECRET ACCOUNT AND INVEST IN PROPERTIES ABROAD. THEY SEND THIER CHILDREN TO FIRST CLASS SCHOOLS ABROAD, LEAVING THE POOR MAN ON THE STRRET WHO JOINED THE QUEUE TO VOTE STRUGGLE FOR EVEN A SQUARE MEAL À DAY. POLITICIANS………….. CUT FROM THE SAME PIECE OF CLOTH.
GOD HAVE MERCY ON OUR LEADERS.

Once a CPP then turned into ndc, funny enough decided to join Nana Addo campaign last yr, the confused parrot he is, like all the others hes been bought by the GREEDY EVIL BASTARDS, what sense does it make if Nana Addo and NPP concede defeat only to turn around to petition the supreme court to declare the elections fraud? There are a lot of dogs who are smarter than him, talk is cheap, reasoning is not, he now qualifies to be in the hall of tomfools, smh, the nonsense that will come out of your mouth cos of money.
