GHANA FASHION FIESTA…The Era Of Wearing ‘Undies’ On Trousers & Raincoats In Sunny Days Is At The Corner

blank

Hitting the streets of GH are different ways of dressing .Some go simple with a pair of jeans and T-Shirts while others choose our indigenous “SLIT AND KABA”. But there is a little problem here.

Did I say little? No it’s huge. Even these pair of jeans are sure to go with tiny blouses revealing our waists and sometimes our beads .No need to prompt us because we are aware.

Bending is now an abominable act, thanks to our way of dressing. Tiny “rags” known as skirts now is a fashion in GH.

About the slit and kaba, this has become trouble for pastors since they are usually worn to church services. Some people intentionally sew it to reveal the breast and this is popularly known in twi as “W’ahye dwa” which literally means she is marketing or selling her body.

Straight dresses also fall in here with so many different styles. Some have no hands, some have one hand, and others totally revealing but wait, don’t get it twisted, it’s the order of the day and that’s fashion for you.

Can you tell the difference between the young and the old?, the married and the single?, and now even pregnant women are joining in revealing themselves all in the name of fashion.

OBS: New Facebook Hook-Up App Shows Which Of Your Friends Want To ‘Bang’ You…Are You In For It?

facebook bang app1

A controversial new Facebook app shows users of the social network which of their online friends are prepared to meet up for no-strings attached sexual encounters.

Bang With Friends claims to help users ‘anonymously find friends who are down for the night’ by pairing up any that are both attracted to each other.

However, doubt has been cast over how anonymous the app really is, since it has an apparent loophole which shows prospective users which of their friends are already using it before signing up.

Logging into the app shows a screen filled with the profile pictures of your Facebook friends of the opposite sex – it appears to be designed exclusively for heterosexual pairings.

Beneath each of the profiles listed sits a button labelled ‘Down to Bang’ which users can click to indicate that they are sexually interested in the friend in question.

Clicking the button switches its label to ‘Awaiting Bang’ but will not notify them of your interest. Unless, that is, they are also users of the app and have also clicked the button beneath your face too.

If that happens, then the app will send a notification email to the address listed on your Facebook account informing you that you have a match.

However, despite its promises of anonymity, the app appears to have a serious glitch that could cause serious problems for users who prefer discretion.

Like other Facebook apps, when users sign up to the service it shows a screen asking them if they are sure, but also showing which of their friends are already using the app.

Ghana Will Not Bow To Gay Right Says Foreign Minister…

Girls Kissing

In the face of threats by some western countries to cut off foreign aid, the minister designate for foreign affairs, Hannah Tetteh, has said Ghana will not capitulate to pressures from outside to regularize homosexuality in comments to the Appointment Committee of Parliament on Thursday.

While stating that Ghana will always respect the principles of universal declaration on human right, she insisted that acceptance of homosexual acts would compromise the nation’s dignity, as laws in the country are rooted in “our culture and religion”.

“We [Ghana] have signed onto the charter of human right but as far as the issue of homosexuality is concerned it is an issue in which different countries in the world have different positions.

“The western countries have come to accept that homosexuality is a part of their society, in our society I don’t think we have come to that acceptance,” Madam Tetteh bluntly stated.
