AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS 2013: Ghana Beats Niger 3-0 To Qualify For Quarter Finals

The Ghanaian team-Ghana Black Stars lead by Captain Asamoah Gyan (Baby Jet) has beaten their Nigerien counterparts by three goals to nil to comfortably sail through to the quarter finals at the on-going Africa Cup of Nations 2013 in South Africa.

Early the first half-6th minute, captain Asamoah Gyan placed Ghana in a quick lead by scoring the first goal. Christian Atsu added the second goal in the 23rd minute from an Asamoah Gyan cross.

John Boye got his name on the score sheet by adding the third and final goal in the 48th minute…

The Black stars lived to their name today by shinning throughout the 90 minutes of play with Asamoah Gyan playing instrumental rule in their victory.

The  Black stars will face Cape Verde in the quarter finals on Saturday at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.
