Am really shocked why srakodie is nt in the artist of the year.the year under review is 2012,he won bet awards, azonto fiesta is a hit and popular son played esp on tv3 music music, burger n pizza organise a gud turn up show, best african act in nigeria entertainment, n more.bcos he will sweep d awrd ,u dnt want 2 put his name there.let be sincere 2 ourself if we want 2 muv d music industry 4ward. But rada appeared in most of the categories 4 what.he won’t be there. How can kaaki n natural face be among new artist of the year.plssss be truthfull.4 me i wont be there despite R2bees is in there.let do a clesn work 2 save our music industry.

pardon my naivety but……whats the diff btn song of the yr nd record of the yr?

    • gaga

i dont know about the GMA’s but at the Grammys
the song of the year awards songwriting credibility of the song whereas record of the year recognizes the popularity and the general niceness of the song

      • honey

@gaga, ur right and i think thats what it is here …

we wish ASEM all da best dou biases here and dere on de nite we wll say byebye to som wak rappers

  • Livi

The nominations are quite good and i think r2bees wont go home empty handed this time round. My only problem is with the female vocals
category,i think Kaakie deserves to be in there instead of adina and yaa yaa besides their tracks didnt make much of an impact compared to kaakie’s.

  • Rain

@livi female vocals means who has the nicest voice not who has the nicest song, and I think ya yaa and Adina voices are as nice as kaakie voice so they do deserve to be there.

    • Livi

@Rain, Yea i do know its about vocal ability and both yaayaa and adina sing very well i just think that kaakie’s voice is equally commendable.

  • lily

D-Black deserves artist of the yr. from channel o awards winner

  • Aba

  • TheChuckylee

Dis year is surely for R2bees.They really worked hard & they deserve to win the ultimate. But did VIP deserve to be in that artiste of the year category? What big hit did they come out with last year?

@kwabena,was thinking along the same line..African Artist of the Year should be Nigeria Artist of the Year instead. This is a joke.
