Courtesy of Ghana Movie Awards, I am currently in Cannes to be part of the 66th Cannes Film Festival experience—mainly to report on things I may find interesting and worth GC’s readers’ attention.
I have managed to schedule interviews with several people including the founder of Ghana Movie Awards-Mr Fred Nuamah who is busy out here networking and building up a ‘portfolio of contacts’.
I was picked up from Nice airport by Nicole Kidman, and Skyfall’s Naomie Harris who is also out here will make sure I am safe (I wish).
Fred picked me up from the airport this afternoon in a rented BMW which we will be painting Cannes red with—the African style! Just pray that they don’t kick us out of here for partying too much!

We decided to test the night life in Cannes after an evening of red carpet and watching Borgman during its first grand screening…I am tired now so will give you guys the full gist and photos later!
